Alex DM24 26" 36h Silver

I swear by these rims... I do lots of older restorations on mid-80s mountain bikes, and these rims not only look great on my project bikes (and handle FAT tires beautifully), they clearly outperform many of the single-walled rims that came original on bikes from that era. I tacoed a beautiful Saturae X28 rim with very little effort, and I realize these rims weren't made to handle the kind of real-world urban and on/off-road riding I do... I need stronger rims. Same goes for the Araya 7x rims that seem to be so collectible... The Alex DM24 looks every bit as nice, but has easily twice the strength... It's a great rim!!

I've had multiple dm24 rims as well as my friends. They are very strong and even better if you run brakes with them. I tacoed my old wheel on my downhill bike and bought this in replacement. I built it up in a day and was ready to ride in no time. Love these rims and will continue to do so as long as I ride bikes.
