A Great - Old Faithful Product!
This is a solid 5 star product, and one that I've purchased and used many times throughout the years...on many different wheels and bikes.I really don't like the rubber band type rim strips as they are very easily misaligned and then offer no protection. And I'm not crazy about the plastic rim strips that are manufactured to pre-determined diameters - they fit some rims well and others poorly...in those latter cases offering little or no protection.Rim tape, on the other hand, is old fashioned...it has worked and worked well for countless decades. There is a reason it is still around. If you are looking at rim tape, you probably already knew this! But I felt inclined to include these comments as many of my cyclist friends were unaware. There are not many brands of rim tape becuase it is such a specialized item. Among the brands that are still available, I believe the Velox brand is the most consistent. It adheres very, very well, but can be re-positioned during installation if needed. And it stays in place and holds tight for decades!

The best
In my limited experience, this is the best rim tape. I had previously bought a "good for the price" inferior product which wasn't worth the bother. This was easy to install and clearly can handle the pressure.

Great rim tape
I have had problems with tube tape failing and causing tubes to fail by ripping on rim holes. This velox tape is easy to Putin and has worked well for several months . Good product

Stopped Frequent Flats
I just bought a used Cannondale Slice and it's probably at least 11 years old. I was getting flats on brand new tubes after anywhere from .5 - 3 miles into a ride....every ride. I was using the old tubes and tires so didn't know where to start with troubleshooting. After 3 tubes popped and new tires and tubes all around, I finally did what I'll definitely do next time after the first flat. I inflated the 3 popped tubes and found the holes to be in different places, though all on the inside of the rim, and not snakebite shaped like a tube caught between the rim and the tire. After some web research and looking at my rim tape, I figured I'd replace it. The existing rim tape was not broken in any way, it was just dimpled in at the spoke holes. This dimpling was enough to blow the tubes at pressure.I've put 100+ miles on the bike since replacing the rim tape and zero blown tires. Speaks for itself.

Nice width but not enough adhesive
Needed wider tape. Had been using 17mm but was having issues with the tape sliding and exposing the spoke ends. This tape is nice and wide BUT the ends, where the valve hole is, does not have enough adhesive to hold. I use some electrical tape at the ends to keep in place.

Heavy duty and does the job
This stuff is thick and stays in place. I really like the amount of protection Velox provides. I think of it as a heavy duty application and depending on the quality of the rim you are using you may not need something so protective. I used this tape most recently on a set of Alex 29" rims that came stock on a 2008 Rockhopper. They're budget rims and the finish isn't great which has led to many pinch flats. But I have seen higher-end rims that are incredibly smooth and well-finished inside and for those applications I think you can go with a thinner/lighter rim tape option.

It's genuine Velox tape
Surprisingly fast delivery coming to the US from France. Velox tape is the best. Those plastic tapes don't sit flat, move easily under the tube during installation and as result leave little spaces for latex tubes to find places to expand into and burst. The plastic stuff is less of an issue if you're using butyl tubes, but why use butyl when latex is so more more comfortable and faster? Velox is the go to tape for latex.

My bike mechanic recommended cloth rim tape and this brand
Rim tape is something cyclists don’t think about . . . Until we start to get unexplained flats and do some investigating and find a tiny crack in the original rim tape that got hard over time.My bike mechanic recommended cloth rim tape and this brand. He has seen a lot more wheel related troubles than me, so I listen to him.The tape seems durable and is easy to install. It’s not real sticky on the back side, which is a good thing if you put it on a little crooked and need to adjust it.

Protección y fácil uso.
He notado que se mantiene más tiempo la presión de las llantas además que se protege mejor la cámara del Rin a diferencia de corbatas convencionales.

As Described
As described, package contains 2 rolls. Each roll was enough for 1 26" wheel with a bit left over. Easy to install and adjust, and feels like a quality product, nice and thick.

A Lifesaver
If your bicycle has hollow rim wheels then this is a must! This tape will prevent the flats resulting from the tube getting damaged by the holes needed to insert the spokes. Very sturdy tape, good quality. Just get the right width so the hole is covered with at least a sixteenth of overlap.
