I love the book stand. I have a large binder that fits perfectly on the book stand. It has created more space on my desk for me to operate. Perfect size and perfect color. I love it!

I really love this stand! It is very well made, uses great materials,and has a lot of great ergonomic touches that show it was well thought out when it was designed.I was using the older, classic folding wire book stand so this is a massive upgrade.First, the stand has very good, positive articulating joints that lock in place so there is never any concern that the arms may collapse or fold like other stands. The locking mechanisms are a simple push buttons on the joints that is easy to use and have clear detentes so you know when the joint is locked.The stand itself is made of sturdy aluminum that is thick enough to hold most anything. Plus there is rubber sheeting at key places to provide antiskid surfaces so your book or tablet will not slide off. The metal clips are springy and large enough to hold most books or magazines without damage and they rotate so they can be cleared away so you can place your tablet on the metal shelf tabs without interfering with the tablet's surface.The book holder is a bit on the large size but I'll readily take that because of the robust capacity for holding anything you want to place on it; plus the versatility of use makes this a great item to give to anyone that does a lot of reading or tablet use. I can see this as a great present for older folks so they don't have to hold their books or tablets so long. Definitely on my holiday gift giving list this year.

Overall, this is a solid bookstand that can hold big texts, adjust to various positions, and clip down pages well. The non-slip pads on the book-holding surface are helpful given the metal construction and the clips hold up well to bending to hold a big text and bending back to give them enough pressure to hold lighter texts.

Greatvsize, easy to change heights and angles. wish the backrest was taller for full size books. Magazines roll over the top.

I got this stand for use with a projector I have. It'll be nicer than putting the projector on a box. It's a very nice stand. Some of the angles the listing shows are not realistic because whatever you put on it will tip the stand over. You have to be realistic with what you're expecting from that standpoint. I like that the stand locks into different angles. It limits the range of angles you can use, but it's nice to know it won't slide from whatever angle you lock it at.If I'd make one suggestion, I'd say that this stand should have some holes in the top panel that your item rests on for heat dispensation. You wouldn't need the holes for a book, but if you plan to use this for a laptop, it's better to have some holes in the panel so that the laptop has more airflow. I've not deducted any stars for this though because it does claim to be a book stand first and foremost.

This is the best cookbook/electronic device holder that I have owed. I have several different ones in the past but they just didn't hit the mark for me. This is made of a metal and plastic and is very well made. It is very adjustable in height and in the pitch of the holding surface. I placed a decent sized cook book on it and it holds it great and firm without slipping or moving. I also tried my iPad and again, it holds it firm without movement. So many times I have needed a good recipe or cookbook holder in the kitchen as I'm cooking away. This will keep my cookbook clean and out of the way but in plain sight as I need it. Very attractive in appearance and it looks as great as it works. Highly recommend this for all of the cooks out there.

My husband has been using this as a stand for his laptop. It has been working great! It's not as adjustable as some of the other laptop stands but it works!

Stand will adjust the height and angle needed to hold a phone, tablet, book, or computer. Great for recipe holding. Easy to use and very stable on flat surfaces. Has plastic grippers to hold on to what you are trying to hold in place. Great for a gift as well.

My husband was looking for something to hold lego instructions nicely while building. It work really well and the flat bottom leaves space to still store/hold pieces.

This review is for the Large, non-rotating book stand.I bought one for a friend's birthday and was so impressed I ordered one for myself.It comes in a little heavy at almost 1.5 kg, so it's not the sort of thing you'll prop up on your knees to read, but not an issue when it's on a desk or kitchen counter. I liked this one because it clicks into place, so it seems over time it won't suffer from slowly losing its ability to hold books up, like I read in some reviews for other stands. The downside is there are only a few positions it can go into, but they all seemed fine for my needs.The little arms that hold the pages are coated so they shouldn't scratch your pages. The bottom also has 4 round rubber pads to prevent your desk from scratching, but also keeps the stand from easily being pushed out of place. It stores nicely on top of my cookbook shelf.

Very easy to adjust, very sturdy, and easy to use. We have had others in the past but none compare to this one. Would highly recommend.
