Bought a second after dog destroyed the first - it's that good!
I invested in a lawn mower when I purchased my home, knowing I didn't want a gas mower bc I had no safe space to store gas, and also that I couldn't afford a decent battery powered mower, I went with a corded mower.I have a big yard and no outside outlet, so a longer extension cord was necessary.I went with this cord bc it had good reviews, met the right gauge for the mower, and it came in 100' for a decent price. And I have to say, it really lived up to the reviews. I'm a single woman in her late 30s, who bought a home in her mid 30s, so it's not like I've had much experience with 100' extension cords, or extension cords in general. But I liked this one so much that when my puppy (who is not a puppy anymore) chewed up the first one (don't worry it was unplugged!!) I bought it again. And believe me, when I had to buy another one, I researched again, and again this one was at the top.It is durable, not much beyond puppy teeth is taking this cord out. It rolls around my yard with me and my lawn mower, but it's easy to keep out of the way (I'm someone who enjoys vacuuming and mowing, so cords don't bother me). It's heavy duty, and when it's wrapped up, it's pretty heavy, but when laid out across the yard, I can easily move it (as easy as it is to move 100' cord). When I originally bought this cord, I was having issues with electricity, and a lot of things could trip the circuit, but this extension cord and the mower held up pretty well, and now that I've fixed the electrical issues, it never trips the breaker - just make sure that you're buying the right gauge and you have the right plug for it. The fact that it's very easy to see if the cord has power with the light on the plug is an added bonus. One last thing, I've left this cord outside in a storm by accident. I let it dry out, and it works just as well as it did the first time.Hopefully I won't have to replace it any time soon, but I know if I did - I'd choose this one.I just wish there were more holders for a 100' 12/3 extension cord - I can't have a wall one, so that has been difficult to solve for.

100 ft 12/3 Outdoor Extension Cord – Heavy Duty and Weather-Ready
I picked up this 100 ft 12/3 outdoor extension cord to power some tools and lights around my yard, and it’s been a reliable workhorse so far. The 12-gauge, 3-prong design handles up to 15 amps and 1875 watts, making it beefy enough for heavy-duty stuff like circular saws or leaf blowers—I ran a 1200W electric mower with no issues. The bright yellow SJTW jacket is thick and flexible, staying pliable even in chilly weather (tested down to about 20°F), and it’s waterproof—survived a rainy weekend coiled outside without a hitch. The lighted indicator end is a standout feature. It glows when powered, so I can tell at a glance if the circuit’s live—super handy in dim corners or at dusk. The 100-foot length gave me plenty of reach from my garage outlet to the far end of my property, and the cord’s heft (12 AWG) means no noticeable voltage drop over distance. It’s ETL listed too, which adds some peace of mind for safety on outdoor jobs.A couple drawbacks: it’s a bit heavy to lug around fully uncoiled—expected for 100 feet of 12-gauge—but coiling it back up takes some effort since it’s not super soft. The bright yellow is great for visibility (no tripping!), but it’s a dust magnet—looked grimy after a muddy day. Compared to a 14-gauge cord I’ve used, this one’s noticeably sturdier and better for high-power tools, though it’s less portable. For outdoor projects needing serious juice, this cord delivers—durable, safe, and versatile. I’d give it 4.5 stars, rounded up to 5 for its performance and features. Just be ready to wrestle it a bit when storing!

The right length for the job.
I need an extension cord 100 ft long so that I can charge our Surrey Bike while it is in a trailer. This cord is heavy enough (12 ga) to charge several other devices at the same time. In order to reduce twists and tangles in the cord, I use a hand held cord reel. This much cord can get a little heavy when winding onto the reel, but not too bad. The quality of the cord looks good and should easily work for the intended purpose.

Excellent quality, great price
This extension cord is a great value for the gauge and length. I keep it partially rolled with the attached hook and loop cord keeper, which makes it easier to deal with for shorter distances. The lighted plug indicates that it’s connected to power, and the yellow color is easy to see to avoid accidents.

Nice to have
This is definitely a heavy duty cord that can easily handle 15=20 amps. The price was right since I couldn’t even purchase SO cord for this amount. The Velcro keeper strap was handy as was the indicator cord end. My only drawback is that these yellow cord covers never seem to like sun exposure very well. They always deteriorate and crack after a while.

Sturdy
Does what it’s supposed to do. Very heavy. Should use a reel with this one because it is so heavy duty and long. Definitely recommend it.

Heavy-Duty Beast of a Cord – Exactly What I Needed!
This POWGRN 100 ft extension cord is the real deal. Thick, durable, and built to handle serious outdoor use. The 12/3 gauge is perfect for running power tools, yard equipment, or anything heavy-duty, and the lighted end makes it easy to know when it's live.I’ve used it in cold weather and wet conditions—no issues at all. It stays flexible and doesn’t kink like cheaper cords. The bright yellow color also makes it easy to spot in the yard or job site.If you're tired of flimsy cords that tangle or trip breakers, this one's worth every penny. Definitely recommend.
