This spatula is one of the most glorious things that you can get for your kitchen! It is H.U.M.O.N.G.O.U.S.and sturdy. I can easily stand at one end of my kitchen and reach the other end to make a stir-fry on the stove (which reveals that my kitchen is tiny... but you get the idea). The spatula has a nicely drilled sanded hole through its end. So you can hang it in a place of pride. I could not be happier with a simple kitchen implement. It definitely brings a touch of wild class to my stir-fries and sautés and goes well with my woks and frying pans.Note that the picture on Amazon is a bit squished and out of proportion. The spatula is a LOT longer and somewhat narrower than it appears in the photograph. The edge is 2.9 inches wide and almost but not quite 17 inches long. I have posted an updated picture. But overall, I highly recommend this spatula. If you must get only one spatula on Amazon, get this island spatula! It's gorgeous!NB: The first spatula I received was chipped but Amazon sent a replacement in two days flat. 10 stars for customer service.

I use two of these spatulas when stir frying, They are a great shape for moving the food around, gentle to my wok, and the long handle helps with the hot oil splatters getting on my hands. I liked them so much, that I went back and ordered more sets to have on hand. I can't speak of their longevity, but they appear to be well made and quite attractive. I wouldn't choose them for other kitchen chores, such as flipping eggs. Being made of bamboo they have to be thicker to hold up, so they are not going to side under an egg as easily as say a silicon spatula. But they are my go to set for stir frying!

I bought this to use in place of plastic. It works fine, but dang it's huge. I think the product would be better if it were more like 12 inches, or whatever a normal spatula length is. This thing is massive.

I am slowly getting rid of everything plastic and/or teflon in my kitchen, and this spatula doesn't disappoint. It's a lot bigger and thicker than the photo makes it appear, but it's perfect for stir-frys and the like. Flipping eggs . . . probably not gonna be the greatest, because the flat is almost 3/16 of an inch thick. On the plus side, the thickness and bamboo material will no doubt make this spatula unbreakable when used for its designed intent. I'm glad to have it in my kitchen.

This set is of the very best quality manufacturing and product on the marketplace. Seller is also fantastic! Don't take my word for it. Buy this and see for yourself.

I have only used this wooden spatula three times and noticed a piece had broken off. I had to throw away an entire batch of jam because I didn’t want anyone to choke on the wooden piece. I loved the size and feel of the product but was not happy that it splintered so quickly. Was hoping for better.

If you like to cook, and like the feel of good quality products in your hands, this is the spatula for you. I know it sounds silly, it's only a spatula after all, but the balance, length and smoothness if this Eco friendly bamboo tool was way beyond expectation. It is much better in person than in the picture, and again, the balance makes it just perfect. Do not hesitate to buy this one!

These are high quality and I like them a lot. My only problem is that they are larger than I had imagined. They're fantastic for frying in my 14" paella pan, but not the tool of choice for a smaller pan. Nonetheless, I give them 5* for quality and beauty.
