Great light good value
This is a versatile light good for pathways, walkways, driveways, and flower beds. It charges well and the charge lasts the night. You can set it to motion detection or always on. The latter does use a lot more of the charge every night. It is a more simple design that will fit into most areas discreetly. It is easy to install. Make sure to choose a place that gets plenty of light all day. The light is very bright and covers a large area.

Nighttime sunshine
Fantastic light! Very bright. Appropriately sensitive to motion. Was easy for me to put together. Super cool addition to my garden-helping keep the critters away.

Bulky for Amount of Light Output!
Construction seems fair enough but the overall size is a bit oversized and is especially noticeable when compared to the limited light output. On the plus side, you do not need to install electrical wiring to make it work so it becomes extremely handy in limited access situations.

Excellent Light Placement Flexibility with Modes Described Here.
I am a big fan of solar lights to save time and money having lights where you need or want them without the expense and hard work of normal hard-wiring and restrictions. The solar lights I like the most are large panel solar collectors which gather more energy to keep the lights going longer and or in the limited sunshine months especially the dead of winter. This one has a large 4.5W, 5.5vdc panel to charge its 3.7v 4,000 mAh Li-ion internal battery. Add that to the fact that the light and the panel are detachable from each other with a long 9 foot power cord between them means you can place the 1,000 lumens LED light pointed where you want and still be able to point the solar panel somewhere within 9ft in any direction to collect maximum sun power. That's all good. The light itself however runs only within 2 Modes which comparatively speaking is a little limited to others out there with many other predetermined lighting modes to select from.In Mode 1 (a) outdoor light mode, when battery power is above 30 percent, the light comes on upon dark at 50 lumens (always on) but when motion is detected goes to full 1,000 lumen and stays at full light until motion stops, then back down after 20 seconds to glow light at 50 lm. Or if battery power is below 30 percent, the light is always in off state (no 50lm glow) until motion is detected then goes to full power 1,000 lm until again no motion after 20 seconds and no light. In Mode 2 (b) indoor light mode, (light sensor is deactivated) and light becomes a motion activated only light giving full power 1,000 lm light day or night until motion stops after 20 seconds, then so does the light. If the manufacturer is reading this... You guys should offer dip switches or timer dial for the customer to adjust the time activation lights on period after motion stops up to several minutes at least. I found it pretty aggravating working with a motion sensor light and being still enough doing some task and the light goes out after 20 seconds. Then you have to sometimes stop what you are doing and move in the way of sensor to trip it again or constantly move for lights to be on. I have this problem in a shed where the lights go out when moving to rear of the shed away from sensor while light is ultra-bright enough for the whole shed but limited in time. Other than that... this is a good real good light with good features and fair pricing for what you get.

Awesome design with this light
The build design and functionality on this thing is pretty cool and useful. Being able to use a wired solar panel from a separate location is really good and the light head is easily mountable and also has strong magnets built in to just stick to anything metal! Very good designing in my opinion. The panel can pivot on it's mount too. The light has 2 different lighting modes you can use, one of them using less power with a dimmer light output until motion is detected. The motion detection is good but not so much off to the sides which is probably due to the sensor being in between the lights. But still not too badly effected. The power button/function choice is on the head with the lights. For only being 1000lm with the "flood light" setup it puts out pretty good light but it's not going to cast that out real far or anything. Lumens in a flood light projection vs a focused beam like a flash light are going to be very different in distance capabilities. Being all this from a solar panel is also pretty impressive to me. I think it's a great product! I'd definitely buy it again.

Solid Feel. Works Well Out of the Box
This is a pretty solid light. And, for the price, it should be. The first thing you'll notice when you pull it out of the box is that it has some heft to it. While the case and mounting hardware are all made of plastic, it has a substantial feel to it.The light has three modes: 1: off. 2: dim but full brightness when motion is detected. 3: off with full brightness when motion is detected. This light has a rather clever feature. When switched to the off/bright with motion mode, it will blink once to let you know you are in that mode. The mounting post and bracket are probably the weakest aspect of the light. While the rest of if feels strong, these elements are the most likely to fail. Over torquing the screws on the mounting bracket could crack it.The directions are clearly written and easy to understand. This is becoming a rather rare feature in this age of global trade. This review is based on initial use. Time will tell how the battery and other electronics will last. If I have any issues with them, I will update this review. For now - four stars.
