I have had frames where pieces spit and broke as I was assembling them - so frustrating! THIS IS NOT THE CASE WITH THESE AWESOME FRAMES. They go together so easily, no breakage and even include the nails you need. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

Ok I bought these not expecting a few pieces of crack wood, maybe a foundation with a crack or one not coated in wax for the price I was paying for 20 frames. However when I got the box I was pleasantly surprised. The frames were packaged in a firm thick cardboard and the contents were packed tight. Nothing was damaged and all the foundations were coated in wax. And believe me or not when I was assembling them in my garage a few honey bees few on the frames after smelling the wax, so I can happily say that it is actual bees wax and not paraffin or some other type. Another great thing is that it came with nails. I figured I would have to go buy some 1in finishing nails, but after opening the box there sat a bag of perfect sized nails. I even have some extra after assembling all the frames with 4 nails per frame.All in all these appear to be great, hope this helps someone decide.P.S. I shopped around and looked at dadant, manlake, and other amazon sellers and found this to be the best deal for plastic foundations.

When I got the package it was printed on the outside deep frames. I was sure that I had ordered medium frames. I can always use more deep frames, but was really needing medium frames. When I opened it they were medium frames like I ordered. They went together great.

I ordered these because they stated that they are double coated with wax. Bees will not use unless coated with wax. The bees did not use. They built comb between frames of waxed frames instead of using these. When I inspected them,. I found there was no wax coating on them. Now I have to put a coating on them and hope they use next year.
