Easy to assemble, works perfectly
Used this to demonstrate wind power for Cubs/Scouts. It worked perfectly as shipped, but I actually soldered the electrical connections and assembled the generator block to keep it simple for the younger ones.

Not really fit for age.
This was a little disappointing. Dad had to do nearly all of it as the screws required a power screw driver to get them in. Our son effectively watched it being made. Also it’s odd that a solar robot required a battery!

Decent toy but with limitations
Straightforward to put together. You need a small crosshead screw driver. Good instruction leaflet. But most importantly you need a good strong wind. Like another reviewer, found it almost impossible to blow hard enough to turn the rotor when trying to drive the motor/generator. Turns very easily when the cogs are separated but the extra resistant to turn the generator and produce the current means you need a good strong wind to turn it. The instructions say a wind speed of 15-20mph, advising an open beach or up a hill (not an enclosed garden at home then). Also thought it might be something to leave outside so that could be watched at night, but warning on box says rain will damage the electrics eventually (they are not enclosed in a watertight frame). I'd also suggest filling the drinks bottle with stones rather than water. If it gets blown over or knocked over then the water just floods the casing and electrics. Still works but had to be quick to dry it out. Strut for the tail fin bent when it fell too.

Fun rocket
My daughter has had a lot of fun playing with this. Once put together she was out there for an hour trying to get it higher and higher.Great learning toy. Fun to put together

Not great
It was ok, but you need tools to build it and not just the ones you have around

Nice toy
Easy to assemble and does generate a little but needs to loosen up to get better.

Polish Cover
UPDATE: there is a polish cover over the English box. You need to take off the cellophane

Kit is not as it appears, I purchased 4 altogether
Lame design. I purchased 4 sets for an 11 year olds party and had 4 groups of 3 making the sets. Only 1 managed a good launch. The set requires tiny screwdrivers which could have been avoided with better design and using your own tape instead of the impossible to separate double sided in the kit. It doesn’t work with all sizes of plastic bottles and you actually need 2 for each rocket, not clear on box. Also the rocket isn’t a clear tube as it appears on the box it is actually rolled up paper. I could design a better kit than this.
