I ordered this for my newborn in January. It was super soft and I love that it has the folds to cover their hands and feet. When we left the hospital it was 30 degrees outside. Underneath I put my baby on a footed sleeper with this on top and it kept him nice and warm. The quality is great. It think enough to keep babies nice and warm. Keep in mind putting to many clothes on might overheat your baby with this on. I ordered a navy one and it looks just like the picture. If your looking for something like this for your kiddo, order it!!

Warning to all parents looking to get this. DO NOT! After receiving the product we washed it and still when my daughter woke up at she had fluff from this product in her nose and mouth. She could have suffocated and these pieces

For size my newborn was almost exactly 8lbs at birth and will probably be able to fit into this until she's 3 months old. The hand and feet covers are perfect for keeping her warm and it is so soft!
