Jinhao x450 Fountain Pen 0.5mm Medium-Fine Nib Ink Pens (Stainless-Silver)

Lovely, well balanced pen. Jinhao has been a very reliable brand for me. This came with a fine nib which I found a bit scratchy...Do yourself a favour, get a set of replacement Jinhao fude nibs and replace the stock nib like I did and you'll have a fantastic writer which outshines pens costing x100 more...

These pens are excellent value for money. They look very professional & they're so many things to like about them. If the pen sheath had fixed to the top of the pen I would have given this 5 stars. I'm forever putting things down & losing them. The Build Quality of the pen is great & it writes really well. It's a very good pen.

This is my second x450. This one appears to be brass that has been lacquered to a lovely white ivory colour . These Chinese fountain pens are fantastic value for the money and I have four now and not a single issue with any of them including the build quality and materials used . Do not be a brand snob .As an everyday writing tool the write ability and quality theses pens box way above their weight . My only small negative points on the x450 is that the cap does not post on the pen and without that it can feel a little small in the crook of the thumb when writing but it is not in any way a bad instrument to use and I already knew this slight issue when I bought it but it’s quality and writing experience far outweigh this small point for me . Buy one it’s a lovely little fountain pen .

This pen may be a little heavy for some but I quite like it. The build quality is incredible - how they do it for the price is amazing. The nib is really smooth, the ink flows very well (I always use Diamine). It writes so well.I am very impressed and like it much better than other I have paid a lot more for. Would highly recommend and would certainly buy again.

The colour and patterning are much richer in the photo than the actual object I received but it writes nicely and has a solid weight to it. I mainly bought it for the look though so a little disappointed that it is much paler and the patterning a little less fune than it is as pictured.

Lovely to write with, and great value for money!

I bought this on the recommendation of a friend. I was worried that her item might have been luck but mine was just as good. Excellent flow, nice weight,solidly made. It would-be nice to have a medium or broad nib option so will look for this. The cartridges in black or blue are very reasonably priced. The pen also comes with options to fill from a bottle of ink but I don't think will use as bottles are very expensive and so far the cartridge option shows no sign of leaking. The click on cap is a nice touch because even if it does leak - seal look very good. Altogether beautifully engineered for just £7.50 !! My handwriting is very small in some ways the fine nib might help with the deciphering ! I have bought four with black, red, green and blue cartridges. No leaking even lying flat in a bag !!!!

This is my new favourite fountain pen and I have quite a few good quality ones. I wanted a fat one, like the one I had as a child. This one is the same shape but feels heavier, better quality. I love how big the nib is but it writes beautifully, it's very smooth. This poem comes everywhere with me now.
