I haven't gotten to deep into this yet as I plan on adding more to it to give as a gift for my friends kid who is already really into to doing certain coding and what not with robotics like this. The kit comes with everything you'd need to put a functioning "head" on a robot if that's the direction you want to go with this. Being a rotating pan and tilt piece though, there are definitely many other applications you could do with this. It is a little advanced depending on the age, meaning obviously this is not for a toddler .. just the smaller pieces and exposed electronics should make that obvious. Whether for a boy or a girl, if they are showing interest in coding and/or robotics, this would make a great gift! It is a great way to give a gift of knowledge, a gift that sparks creativity and imagination as well as a a gift that will be a lot of fun. Whether it is something you do together with your kid or just as something they can go and build and show off to you. I honestly don’t know exactly what to do with this thing but it’s really cool. It’s a robotic arm that comes with 2 servos. This would be great for someone who is into robotics & maybe even for a school project. There’s probably all kinds of cool uses for this little gadget, I’m just not sure what to use it for yet. Lol
