Brilliant, work perfectly if used correctly (with a 6mm wood drill bit, not HSS!)
These work perfectly, but judging by the other reviews you need to be careful about drilling the correct sized hole.On the packaging it states a 6mm drill bit, but (perhaps unhelpfully) has a picture of an HSS drill bit. Don't use an HSS drill, use a 6mm wood drill bit as shown in the pictures.Drill the holes carefully (not pushing hard since you don't want to make a dent on the inside of the opposite side of the door). Insert the plugs and tap them in gently with a hammer. The plugs then work perfectly, and offer a firm hold. Note that (as mentioned in other reviews) they are not 100% flush because the outer flange sits proud of the door panel by perhaps 0.5mm.As shown in the images, the plus perfectly well hold an ironing board hook, for an ironing board that's not especially light.Overall these are very good and I will use them again.

Good, firm fixing
Pretty good product. These plugs work as they should, and when tightened fully give a firm fixing. The only minor issue to be aware of is that they tend to rotate as you tighten each screw. I found that I had to stop them turning by pressing against the flange at the end of the plug with a small, flat-blade screwdriver, to provide enough friction to stop them from turning, and thereby preventing the screw going fully "home".

OK - but they don't inspire massive confidence for fixing coat hooks
Bought these because I needed some unobtrusive, short fixings for a dressing-gown hook on the back of a bedroom door. They work OK, but you must use exactly the right size drill bit or they'll either get damaged when you push them in, or, worse, start turning round when you screw into them. They work by deforming as the screw tightens so there's a twisted chunk of plastic pulled tight behind the door panel. It seems reasonably secure, but it doesn't inspire as much confidence as the metal hollow-door fixings I have used in the past, but couldn't find any more.

Don't work
Rubbish didn't work. Pushed into door but do not grip/open out within the void.

Perfect
It's amazing how the correct plug can make such a difference. I've got a hollow wooden bathroom door that I tried to attach a couple of hooks onto. As it's wooden I thought it would be okay to just screw into the wood, and that appeared to work for a while. Unfortunately, over time the hangers came off the door. I tried using wood filler, polyfilla, super glue, and a range of other measures, and nothing lasted long - to be honest, in all these cases the hooks didn't really feel firmly attached. With these plugs, though, and longer screws, the hooks now truly feel attached.

Did the job.
Wanted something that would allow me to screw a couple of brackets to the inside of a cupboard door under the stairs. Unfortunately, said brackets, that I had bought to hang up the 2 main heads for my new Dyson V10 turned out to be 3D printed, so when I tried to screw the first one up tight it cracked at both ends. Knowing this the second bracket was screwed up to a lesser torque. This left both brackets doing there job but both of them being a bit wobbly as I couldn't get them tight enough to draw them flat to the door. The end result bugged me until I solved it by running some Gorilla super glue in from the top between the door and the bracket. After leaving over night to cure everything is now pretty firm with no wobbling. Happy with final outcome.
