Schwarzkopf Live Ultra Brights 094 Purple Punk Hair Dye

Once applied the colour payoff if beautiful! It started as a warmer bright yellow (photo with red dress) and it stayed fully on during the first 2 shampoos although after that it did look a bit more cool toned/neon (photo in blue dress). After the 4th wash however it faded unevenly (photo in ponytail). I bleach my hair when the roots come out and the most recently bleached part is still very yellow and it won’t come off while the older parts have completely faded, you can see that a bit on my fringe where the top is yellow but the ends are lighter and it has continued this way. The last photo (fringe closeup) is where I’m currently at after using purple shampoo twice in an attempt to fade the yellow but this has made things even more uneven. I would suggest that if you have bleached your hair in different sections in the past you might need to monitor the fade closely if you want to get rid of the yellow in a few weeks.

Really vibrant and lasts longer then other brands like crazy colour, mood, directions or asp (I've tried all 3).Ive never liked the smell of xl live products personally and this does have its typical smell.I don't know what removal would be like as of yet but will update when changing the colour in a few month if its difficult to remove

So I really like this hair dye! I’ve been a committed buyer for about half a year - here’s my review…I like the fact that it is extremely pigmented and bright. It is definitely strong as long as you leave it to develop for 30 minutes or so (I tend to leave it in for an hour).My one bad thing is that it tends to fade prominently in a few weeks and if I want the bright pigmented hair, I have to redye it every couple weeks. (In the hair up picture you can see what a decent amount of fading looks like.) At least it’s inexpensive!

I have used yellow hair dye before (Directions I believe and maybe one other) on my dreadlocks. I have quite dark brown hair naturally. I always bleach first but I've never managed to get yellow to come out that well. This one was great though so I was very happy and would recommend.

So I dyed my hair with two boxes of the yellow hair dye and I had previously bleached my hair before dying it. So if you want the colour to be vibrant start off with a bleached base for sure. I've very thick hair short hair so i needed two boxes and the colour came out perfect! Although be prepared to washing this out FOREVER. I've probably washed my hair 20 times since dying it and only in my last 5 washes has the water run clear.

What I started with (left) and what I got (right)- very impressed!! Easy formula to move around the hair, and coverage is good. I used one tube and half a sachet of the conditioner, covered my whole head and had some left over! Plus it didn’t stain my shower or skin- Would definitely buy again :)

My hair was an orange/yellow from bleaching from red, and this is the result after using this live hair dye.The colours from this dye are beautiful, however it washed out very quickly. A lot quicker than most dyes. It's very easy to apply, the colours blend well together so not much effort has to be made. It kind of leaves a residue that does come off ie if you run your hands through your hair you're going to get pinky red under your nails. Purple does not show up unless your hair is bleached very light.

This colour is beautiful, I was blue then green before this so when I bleached my hair I wasn't totally white blonde but had the tiniest blue pigment in still which you can see turned slightly green in places so not a true reflection of this colour but it is absolutely gorgeous. Really didn't think this would suit me but if you fancy yellow hair I definitely think you should give this a try! 💛
