Cote D'Or Milk Chocolate Hazelnut Pralines Bouchee Giftbox, 200g (7.05-ounce), Belgian Chocolate

My wife has ordered 2 boxes of these. I saw someone else stated they were born in Belgium and claim these don't taste the same. I hear that all the time from my wife who was born and raised until 25 in Belgium. Though, she said these taste the same. Also, I would like to add that sometimes things don't taste the same though, sometimes they do and your memory fades. I know this because, I have taken candies bought in Belgium and mixed them with one purchased here in the USA. She never could tell the difference. I can tell you also that this happens to me when I eat or drink things I have overseas and back here in the USA. There are differences for sure many times. Coke in Italy was disgusting. But tasted great in Belgium, Bulgaria, Denmark, and Norway. IDK what Italy was putting in the Coke but, it was nasty. Like drinking a diet soda nasty.

I have ordered several boxes of this chocolate. The chocolate itself is individually wrapped, BUT the box that contains the chocolate is not sealed and with each shipment the chocolate has spilled out of it. This occurred EVERY TIME!. The chocolate tastes fine, the condition of the box shows a lack of care for the product. They have to be aware of this, yet they have made no efforts to fix the problem.

These chocolates are my very best of all chocolates around the globe.

The product in quality & taste is a 5 but delivering melted chocolate is not good which is why this gets a middle 3 rating. This product is not in a temperature controlled delivery truck so if you live in a warm climate, I would not order until it cools off. I picked this up immediately after delivery (my gate alarms me of incoming visitors) so the melting happened prior.

I grew up in Côté D'ivoire and sometimes miss the sweets we used to get there. I was happy to find these, even if they are expensive.

I am was born and raised in Belgium and have always like these creamy chocolates. They are classic Belgian. I am so glad to be able to get them in the United States now. They also make great gifts.

These bouchées were some of our favorite chocolates when we lived in Europe. I love that I can now get them on Amazon. When I can get them on an Amazon sale- that’s even better! These chocolates are delicious! It’s excellent quality chocolate with a hazelnut filling (praliné) that is smooth and delicious (if you like hazelnuts).

I was born and raised in Belgium. The Cote D'Or Chocolate covered hazelnut cream filled candies were my all time favorite. I bought these hoping they were the same thing. NOT EVEN CLOSE. First of all, they arrived with the box of chocolates open and smushed. I decided to try one anyway, so hoping they would taste the same as my favorite treat. I don't know what these are, but this is not hazelnut praline, and the chocolate is horrible tasting. How they are allowed to use the name Cote D'Or is a mystery to me and a crime. Just absolutely awful. I threw them out. What a terrible disappointment. If there was an option to leave zero stars, I would surely choose that.
