Perfect replacement for old battery pack
This battery pack is exactly what I needed for a carpet sweeper. The original battery pack was no longer available and a suitable replacement was difficult to find. The speciations of this battery pack where right for the appliance, including the dimensions to fit the housing. I am very pleased with this purchase.

No complaints here. If these match your application, this is a great deal.
I was looking for a good quality, rechargeable battery to use in my Shark lightweight sweeper, and this one looked like it would be what I needed. This is a 2-pack, so I probably won't need replacements for a long time. It has a Tamiya plug, which is the standard for RC cars, but not what my sweeper uses. I did have to cut off the Tamiya plug and strip the wires, so I could connect them to the connector from the old battery. Other than that, it was smooth sailing. Plugged it into the sweeper and let it charge for a few hours. I really don't know how long the charge will last. I used the sweeper to clean the kitchen every day for the last week, and it runs as strong as it was right after being charged. Seems great as far as I'm concerned. It is also Ni-Cd. Not exactly the latest technology for batteries, but it's the same as the old batteries, so it should be fine. The pack is rated at 1500mAh. A bit higher than the old ones, so even better. With battery packs, the voltage (these are 7.2) should match, but the mAh can be higher. It just refers to how long you can use them before a recharge is needed. The packs were selling for $18 when I got them. 9 bucks for a six-cell pack seems like a good price. No complaints here. If these match your application, this is a great deal.

Great value
So ya Ni-Cad is old school. These batteries fit the price vs. performance space perfectly.I brought new life and new experiences to my old battery powered RC models with my son.Great price and great times, I would recommend these!

Worked for my husband's RC plane
My husband has a few RC planes that he flies around on our acreage. He said these batteries worked well and gave him full flight time. He's an RC snob, so if he likes it it's good.

Wish they sold a 1x2 AA pack too
Really handy rechargeables able to plug right in if you have the adequate connection already one your RC/device. I'm kinda nuts and trying to use these for powering some simple LED stuffs down the line but testing them they've got plenty of charge capacity and work fine. I wish I'd gotten 2xAA but it wasn't available when I had the chance =/No complaints from me on these ones though!

Gets the job done
NiCd batteries aren’t exactly the latest and greatest technology. The Cadmium is generally regarded as an environmental hazard (so please dispose of used batteries responsibly). In most applications, NiMH is the modern replacement for these, but NiCd still have some advantages in some applications. I don’t have any hard data, but some people think NiCd handles temperature extremes better, for example, so these cells might be advantageous in outdoor solar lighting. And if you have older equipment that was originally built to charge NiCd and only NiCd then things might not go so well if you put comparatively sensitive NiMH batteries in it. So these packs do still have their purpose.I ripped them open to see what was inside. I can’t particularly complain about build quality. Everything looked about as you’d expect. Metal tabs attached with two spot welds on each end of the cell, with wires soldered to the beginning and end of the series. Strong glue holding the cells together. In both of my six-cell packs as they arrived, precisely one of the cells was only a hair over 1.0V while the others were at the expected 1.2V. That’s fairly unbalanced, which can affect performance and longevity if it persists. It might just be differences in self-discharge rates, so I tried sticking the weak cell in a battery charger for a little while. That seemed to sort it out, so the cell doesn’t actually seems to be bad and there’s hope that a slow charge would’ve evened things out without you having to rip open the packs like I did.The claimed 1500 mAh capacity is also a bit suspicious. Normally AA NiCd batteries claim 600 to *maybe* 1100 mAh at the high end, and you generally have to go with NiMH to do better than that within the limited volume of a AA. And, while I haven’t done anything scientific to measure capacity, I haven’t noticed a world of difference when switching to these from 600 mAh cells.

Long Lasting and a Good Value
These battery packs are a good value. I use them to power a portable radio receiver. They last a very long time in this application. When the battery packs arrived I placed each of them on a battery charger/analyzer. They both charged as expected, and the analyzer reported their capacity to be the rated 1500 mAh.I am pleased with these batteries, and expect them to have a long life of many charge/discharge cycles.
