I have 10 year old oatmeal-colored carpet. I have had professional cleaning companies who make outrageous claims come in and leave me with good looking carpets - and within a week, the trails were back as bad as ever. Then I tried all the "magical" and major brands and the do-it-yourself approach. Same results. Out of desperation and not wanting to go through the ordeal and expense of having carpet replaced, I tried this product. Ah....mazing! My carpets actually look new again! I will admit that I used the upholstery tool on the bad trails and had to go over some sections several times before the extracted water was clear. I was shocked and disgusted at the amount of filthy water that came out of these carpet trails and was determined to get it clean or replace the carpet. This stuff works! It works beautifully! Can't say it was easy doing the trails with the upholstery brush instead of the upright, but it was worth the effort because the carpet is CLEAN - all the way down to the backing, not just on the surface which is what most "professional" cleaners do. Love it! No odor, no residue, just clean, look-like-new ten year old carpet! Wish I had taken pictures, but honestly, I didn't expect such remarkable results.

Exceptional outcome! I used 6oz per gallon to clean my cloth 6 piece sectional with my Bissell Turbo Dual cleaner. I applied the liquid solution, gave it a scrub and waited a few minutes before suctioning up the area and instantly I could notice how clean it was leaving my couch. Also, the smell left on the fabric is great, not overpowering but just a good clean smell. Definitely a great value for the price tag!

My bedroom was so infested with dog urine. I had an old dog that was senile and he’d pee and then my other 2 dogs would follow. I didn’t even know where they were urinating. I just knew my carpets were nasty and I would get horrible migraines from the smell. I had shampooed my carpets several times before and it would just smell again after the carpet dried. I looked up this product watched reviews and it has a 💯% guarantee so I said what did I have to lose? I used it according to instructions ,but I did use a spray bottle in areas I thought would be problem areas. Not even really knowing where exactly the urine was. I just smelled urine… I sprayed product I let that sit for 30 minutes then used the product in my machine as directed. This product doesn’t smell strong or overwhelming , after my carpets dried I vacuumed all of them as directed and OH MY GOD IT WORKED !!! I’m so happy!! I even used it to clean my base boards and my tile floors. No sticky residue nothing , just good smelling carpets. I highly recommend using it. I don’t have cats so I don’t know how it would work on cat urine, but it completely works on dog pee. I will be buying more if my dogs are bad boys in the future. Excellent excellent excellent product. I’m just amazed!!

Pro: This is the first time I've used this, but it appears to work quite well, hasn't changed the color of the brown carpet, and removed 85% of the stains in the 20 year old carpet so that was good (rental). I used it in my Hoover LS steam cleaning machine so it does a great job on applying it and removing the soiled water in about 6 strokes each pass. It dried completely in about 12 hours. I was able to lay down the rug runners with no problem and the bedroom looks so much nicer now. I waited a few days and then cleaned the living room with the same results, but there were a few spots that discolored the old brown carpeting to an orange-brown which was probably from the old dog of the previous tenant. I purchased a new oriental carpet to cover up most of the old brown carpet after I had finished cleaning, drying, and airing it out. Such an improvement! Con: It's an old carpet and I just rent here. The previous tenant died and had a dog so the apartment smelled like a wet dog after it dried for two days. I left the patio door and windows open to air it out while it finished drying. Can't comment yet on how long it stays clean before it has to be done again, but I'll be back to review it in a few months. It's definitely the best product I've ever used so far, including when I've hired professional carpet cleaners! UPDATED: 10-2-25 It's been close to 5 months since I first cleaned it and it has held up well. I spot clean by hand whenever my coffee cup splashes out while I'm walking to get to my computer in the morning or track in dirt on my shoes, but maintaining it by vacuuming it frequently helps a lot. At this rate, I can see it will need to be shampooed again each year to keep it smelling and looking nice. I'm hoping the wet dog issue I had the first time won't happen when I clean it again, but I'll update my review after I find out what happens. I'll have to wait until May for the warmer weather to shampoo it again in case it needs to air out for several days again. After the next time I update my review, I might raise it to 5 stars then! lol

Best carpet shampoo out there takes out stains and smells works wonderful

Okay so I have tried several different carpet shampoos. My beagle is 3 now and potty training a beagle is everyone’s worst nightmare! Haha. But this carpet is about 40 years old and having dogs in the home over the course of 30 years this carpet has had some animal trauma. They have the best noses so over time even though we cleaned during potty training they hit nearly the same spot or area. In the summer when it’s humid it would just smell like dog pee and I’d shampoo and the smell would go away for about a week then come right back. I used this product once so far and yes I did saturate the area just a bit more than the machine could do because I have the carpet then padding underneath. I have a watering can so I just sprinkled over the area a couple times with this stuff mixed in and then I used the machine with it and it’s been over a month now and no smell and no accidents so far! (Please don’t have me jinx it) even got out an awful stain I had for the most part. I kept looking at this product over the past year and always was like maybe next time if this doesn’t work. Well I’m now mad I bought 3 other products over this one and spent money on something that’s gonna sit in the closet now. Just happy that my home doesn’t smell horrible anymore.

I have mixed feelings about this carpet cleaner. It did a great job pulling dirt from the carpet when I used it with my Bissell ProHeat 2X Revolution Pet Pro, and the floors looked clean afterward. However, it didn’t remove the dog urine smell, in fact, it seemed to make the odor stronger. I ended up cleaning again with the Bissell Oxy Clean Urine Eliminator, which worked much better, and then followed up with the Rocco & Roxie Stain and Odor Eliminator to finally get rid of the smell

I was very impressed by the cleaning capability and quality of this product and the clean smell. It seemed to really work on the problem areas (high traffic areas). Products arrived wrapped in plastic, but no leaking occurred. Will definitely buy again!
