Reasonably priced and quality for chickens.
It is a plastic 4" pipe chicken feeder. The pipe looks robust enough to feed chickens.Complete with hardware for mounting on a fence, or a wall. The pipe has a rain seal cap.I am not feeding lions, tigers, or bears, just chickens. It should stand up well.Purchasing plastic pipe from the hardware store is more expensive, but this product is reasonably priced.

The feeders work as described. In fact I am buying another one.

Serviceable (minus the zip ties)
Went together pretty easily. One cap was bent, so took some effort to get that on and it's a bit difficult to screw/unscrew the cap. Every single zip tie provided broke, thankfully I had bought some 2 ft zip ties for another project. Beware the zip ties, if that's your plan for mounting them.Overall not perfect, but these were cheaper than buying the PVC.

Good for keeping a supply of food for the chickens.
Easy to attach and the chickens took to it quickly. No waste to the feed. Great way to keep a continuous supply of feed for the girls.

Needed more capacity
I love the idea of these feeders. What they do well is reduce waste and are easy to fill.Things to watch out for, if you have large breed chickens. The edges of the plastic are sharp, on day 3, I noticed some blood smears. I sanded the edges down and covered them with foam tape and its fixed the problem. The two feeding tubes together dont hold but a half bag of chicken crumbles so if you were looking for more capacity you'll need to buy more or replace the upright pipes with longer ones, which is what we are planning to do.We mounted ours a little different, we were trying to create a dry feeding station but not have to stoop down everyday to feed so we added some food grad caulk to the joints and this has solved that problem.I roll a wheel barrow into the coop and use an old pitcher to fill the tubes. We were in a rush to set up a feeder before leaving on vacation and these were fast. Had we had time we would've used DIY videos and made something that held more feed. If youre not handy, you will like these.

Not water-tight *MOLDY FOOD*
It was delivered 2 weeks ago. I put it up a few days after I got it. I had it mounted from the outside of the coop, through the hardware cloth at the bottom, with the chickens able to access the food from the inside. It had a roof over it but was open to air on either side. Today I discovered the food inside was moldy. I dumped it out and sprayed water on the outside of it, to discover that the water from the outside leaks inside. I am going to try to return but definitely don’t recommend it.

So convenient for the busy chicken owner
I love this contraption! We can go out of town and rest assured that our chickens have fresh food and don't run out while we're away.
