Solvent Free Gel Medium 37Ml

Perfect for my needs. I get migraines with toxic solvents. For oil painting I’m using this and linseed oil only and it works great, no smell and non toxic

Love this medium for oil painting. Barely has a smell, really smooths out the paint and makes it easier to work with. Generally dries quicker than linseed oil. This little tube has lasted me about 5 months and i paint regularly for school. Works great, would recommend.

Great product and worth your money! It doesn't exactly what it says it does, my paint dry quickly in 3/4days and it is odourless and easy to mix in with paints. I would recommend if your looking for something that quickly dries without a strong odour.

I got this solvent free gel for my oil paints and it has proven to be a pretty good product. Whilst this is the cheapest price I’ve seen of this Gamblin gel, it does get used up quite quickly and so it might not exactly be the best value for money. However, it is completely free of toxins which doesn’t damage the environment and allows me to not have to paint with my window fully open during the winter which is a plus. The gel also doesn’t discolour the paint that it is being used with much as I’ve seen no noticeable difference. Paired with this clear solvent free gel, my oil paints can bow be applied smoothly to my paintings, getting rid of the harsh lines that I had to deal with before. Therefore, this is a great product that does enhance your paintings and gives it the desired effect, though the price for such a small tube is too high for what it is.

First time trying this gel. It's a great little alternative to toxic mediums. It's a different kind of consistency when mixed with oil paint. To be used in small amounts only.

It smells so bad man….i just wanted something that you can use indoors…. Not it! Alkyd walnut oil is the way to go

I decided that straight oil paint is fine, this didn't help me much, made paint too shiny. A drying oil can be used if you need more flow.

Une merveille, c'est devenu mon medium préféré. Accélère vraiment le temps de séchage des peintures à l'huile, passant d'une semaine à 24-48h ( tout dépend du pigment, bien sur, les blancs de titane resteront toujours plus lents à 'sécher' que les terres ). Pas d'odeur du tout.

Ist wegen der Geruchsbildung besser geeignet als Liquin. Auch in der Anwendung (Tube) ist die Dosierung angenehmer.

What a great product!! I never knew oils could be so silky smooth!! If you want flow and ease and paint extension, get this product!! I thought it was a faster drying medium and it is a day faster. I live in a very humid climate and oils dry very slowly, so every little bit helps. All in all a very good product. It goes a long way and is a good value. I got the 37 ml (1.25 oz) tube and have used it every day and barely made a dent in the amount of product. It will be a mainstay of my daily oil painting hobby.
