I recently got my hands on a set of printer ink cartridges, and let me tell you, they're nothing short of amazing! Ink cartridge did not work for my HP Officejet Pro 8710. Inserted the XL Black cartridge and the genuine HP color ink stopped working, everything printed in Black. I stopped using it for some time but when I finally went to use it again, nothing printed, just ink blots and blank pages. I tested printing from a different application and making a direct copy from the scanner and got the same thing, so I know it's not the drivers, file, or application; it's the ink cartridges unfortunately.

I also bought these cartridges not realizing it was not the brand HP. Package looks very similar. Bought them around thanksgiving (5 months ago) so not able to return. Here is the weird problem when it arrived I used the pink and blue color with no issue. But today the yellow and black say no HP chip present and not useable. So heads up they aren’t always compatible to HP. So buy at your own risk.

These cartridges work beautifully. After researching what happens when the HP 8715 wouldn't accept an offbrand cartridge, I tried to install an actual HP cartridge. Imagine my rage when it refused to accept it's own HP brand cartridge, with the message something to the effect that this cartridge was an older generation. I admit that the cartridge was purchased awhile back to have on hand when I needed it. It's bad enough that HP tries to control my printer that I paid for and own, but when it wouldn't accept it's own cartridge, I was furious. I reset the printer to the factory settings & turned off automatic updates. I followed the directions that came with the cartridges, the printer is now working great. These cartridges have made me soooooooo happy. The price is reasonable, the delivery was quick, and I couldn't be happier. I just installed these cartridges yesterday.

I have used these ink cartridges for last couple years. The last batch, purchased in 2023, did have a small black ink "bleed" issue on some pages. This seemed worse when printing envelopes. Also, sometimes the printed page would be extremely faint if the printer sat idle for weeks. I was always able to correct these issues by cleaning the print head in the maintenance menu. I do also get the non-HP genuine cartridge message, but only at initial installation. The fact these are 75% less than HP cartridges makes it worth the buy. I will be buying again. Note - it's best NOT to update your printer software. This is an HP scam, which they use to prevent use of 3rd party cartridges!! And, DO NOT remove the plastic film on the nozzle. Think this creates the seal in the printer and failure causes the ink bleed issues. Lastly, simply execute the printer head cleaning maintenance, which I think takes care of most of the complaints in the various reviews for this.

I recently got off the HP Instant Ink program and was happy to see this available on Amazon. The cartridges are all HP and work exactly as promised.
