Good Discs, No Coasters :-)
Bought these discs to back up files etc. and used my 2012 Pioneer BDR-206DBK Blu-Ray Recorder to do the writing. I've had no issues so far, they seem good Discs and I haven't had any coasters at all. As for longevity, I cant comment - only time will tell. As with any Blu-Ray disc, I would advocate handling them with care and avoid getting finger marks, grease or dirt etc on the surface of the disc as it will make them difficult to read for any reader; I always grip discs on the very outer edge and/or wear gloves to alleviate the possibility of causing issues relating to reading the disc.I know its stating the obvious but, you'd be amazed how many people think discs are indestructible !!!! LOL!!!

Excellent value for money, quality BD-R dics
I was wondering if these were LTH (worse) vs HTL (better) but it was not officially mentioned anywhere. The underlying surface colour is blue-ish grey, which usually indicates an HTL disc. ImgBurn reports them as "Recorded Mark Polarity: HTL" and the Blu-ray Disc Association website also reports them as HTL by providing the disc manufacturer and media id "CMCMAG-BA5".This means that these discs are excellent value for money from a renowned brand!

Cost effective quality media for archiving and limited video production
Bought to archive some older operating system images which I was loathed to fully delete from my NAS drive. Discs are of good quality, currently used half so far with no burn errors and speed is as advertised (but could vary depending on your BD burner, check your specs before buying if burn speed is of importance). Works well with Topop slim line DVD-BD drive (Matshita BD-MLT UJ260AF internals) paired with iMac.Single disc used for video burning test and could be played back on several BD players (Sony, Panasonic, TDK).Would certainly purchase another pack should I require further archiving. Only four stars given as other brands and longevity of the media has not been tested.

Verbatum Blu-Ray re-recordable discs, BD-RE 25GB
Original review 25th December 2009I bought a 5-pack of these only very recently, about two weeks ago. Therefore my comments are very preliminary, but I have had no problems with them so far, neither formatting, recording, nor playing back from them. They seem good value compared to the cost of the Panasonic equivalent.I have not yet erased nor re-recorded to any of the discs. This is not because I intend to use them for archiving, but because I have not finished watching the recordings I made.Update 9th January 2014:I am still using these discs, re-using each one approximately every month or two, I have not experienced any failures. I'm so pleased, I've bought one or two more packs of them which have joined the original lot for re-using.Highly recommended.

Great for data storage backup
Ok, so you'll need a blu-ray burner to burn / read these discs. But that said...They are great for data backup storage. External hard drives can fail, whether solid state or disc based. So I like to back up important family movies, memories etc on something else as well, and blu-ray discs are a great option. These ones can store up to 50GB each, so enough for tons and tons of photos (my entire back catalogue in fact, and that's quite a few from years of travelling). They can also hold lots of .mov files, great for family videos etc.Longevity, I'm not sure. Too soon to say. We were told back in the 80s that CDs were indestructible. It turned out they weren't. If these last me 10 or 20 years, with care, I'll be happy, I'll have made new copies by then, assuming I'm still around to do so! I don't much mind if they outlast me, or not. But if anyone needs to archive really important material for future generations, they might prefer to use the highly stable and reliable M-discs instead.

Fantastic discs, although cut at 4 x speed for best reliablity and no coasters
Fantastic discs, make sure your writer is working correctly and you have the latest bios and drivers for it, plenty of people that complain about poor media simply haven't got their set-up right, if you value your data just buy a brand new blu ray writer when you buy the discs, my old drive had hardly been used but was having problems so I bought a new pioneer drive on here with the discs.Use the latest version of Nero, it has something called discspan this lets you drag a massive folder over to the disc and it will automatically split the files on to the discs for you then all you have to do is put a new disc in, on 4 speed this takes approx 35 mins to burn and verify the discs, make sure you switch on verify data as this is important to know that the discs are being written correctly.I have burned 50 of these discs backing up my various digital camera and music files with no coasters.

Only four out of five discs worked - not a good rate at the price
ALthough the discs I have were bought in 2017, I've been using them for special occasions - plus Memory Sticks have dropped in price in the meantime, rendering them (in some ways) obsolete. Anyway, one disc failed - at a price of nearly £5! - which is not great considering (a) the reputation Verbatim have and (b) the price! Hence the three star review.I've ordered a ten-disc pack/stack of these discs for £35 (yes, I know, I must be mad!) and I just hope the failed disc turns out to have been a one-off.

Good bluray blank disc
I have burnt many dvd and bluray blanks for a very long time…Made multiple videos of the family…I have come to rely on Verbatim disc only….you will rarely fine one not working…the computer recognizes them all the time and Nero burning software takes it from there..If you buy these you will not be disappointed.

Soddisfatto.
