this stuff is potent, and a little goes a long way. bought for the first time to make homemade bitters, and even after a short soak in the alcohol, not even an hour (the bitters recipe calls for steeping at least a week), the flavor was strong and distinct.

I made the mistake of popping one into my mouth and it IMMEDIATELY tasted bitter. My fault for being curious, I guess. I bought them to make homemade bitters and it actually worked! I kindly eyeballed the amount of gentian root but it came out great a few weeks later!! I’m really happy to have bought this even just so I could try making new, complex flavors.

We absolutely love this tea and came back to order more. We are truly sad to see it is not currently available. We really like that this tea is packaged in paper...not toxic plastic...which is a huge plus and the main reason we decided to buy it from this company. Please bring it back! :)

It’s better to get your herbs in this manner, without the bleached tea bags. The smell is great and it’s potent.
