Stopped giving my dog 2 prescriptions for pain associated with degenerative joint disease and replaced those with this asprin. After about two months I've noticed no difference in the way my dog acts which leads me to believe that it's just as effective as the prescription medication. I roll this up in a half piece of deli salami and my dog eats it no problem.

Works for my dog's hips, but because it is an "nsaid" I only use every 2 or 3 days and only 1 or 2 to prevent it from irritating her stomach. It is best used as an occasional support, not too much and probably not daily as suggested on label.

As others have said these must not taste like liver because my dog won't take them like a treat like other liver flavored meds that he takes. No big deal he will take it in a hot dog or cheese. These have helped his pain and stiffness greatly. He is getting around like his younger self again. I am reordering.

According to my dog, these do not taste like liver, beef, or any other food. They have no smell at all. They are no more chewable than ordinary aspirin. Even hidden in food, she manages to find and spit out the pill like someone eating cherries. Hey, Heartguard makes their product soft and tasty, what is so difficult about this?

I received this 3/18/2017. The expiration date is 4/2017. I can return it, at my expense.

I wanted to let people know that these aspirin pills are not the large size, meaty pills that taste great to dogs. I am familiar with buying the large (approximately the diameter of a quarter) pills that must be very palatable to dogs but these are not those. These pills are slightly larger than your typical, for-human-consumption aspirin and are tan in color. They smell like aspirin, not beef or liver. My dog would not take it unless I hid it in something else. But the price is great and hopefully, they don't bother his stomach. I hope not since I bought 4 bottles. I will update my review after I determine that.Here is my update: these aspirin do not upset my dog's stomach and seem to work well. As i said before, I have to hide them in other more tasteful treats or he will spit them out.

I have to trick my dog into eating this, if not he will eat all his food and leave this behind in his bowl. But BOY IT HAS CHANGED HIS LIFE. More motion from him and he seems to be more comfortable. Very happy with these.

I have 2 Corgis that are over 10 years old. I give them 2 tablets a day, and it helps them. They are very happy and active!!!
