Koss "SB45" Computer Gaming Headset, Silver & Black

Looking for a good quality headset for use with my PC as my existing ones were overdue for replacement I found these. Good sound and microphone, comfortable to wear and a good price. As usual Amazon came up with the goods and delivery was quick.

A fraction of the price of professional communication headsets - yet I've had lots great audio reports using my Icom Ic7300 and Ic9700.Full hands free operation once you've set up the vox function.

I bought these headphones primarily to use with speech recognition software, and I'm pleased to report they perform very well in this area, with the microphone picking up words accurately. Sound reporoduction and bass are good. The headphones are a little tight on the head and ears and can feel a little uncomfortable after a while, but then again, I do have a big head, so it may not be a problem for others:-)

I've been using these headphones for six and a half years now, after having two more flimsy headsets break in the space of a year. Three years after purchase, the connection where the wire meets the base of the left headphone started to cause crackling, so I called in the lifetime warranty. Koss's UK distributor repaired them for a £5 shipping fee, and at this point they're pretty much as good as new except that the cushions are starting to wear out.I'm no sound quality connoisseur, but it's good enough that I miss it when using anything cheaper. They're comfortable, and the folding feature is useful occasionally (though if you're looking for portability, you could do much better).If you're looking for reliable, long-lasting headphones without spending too much, these are for you.

The headset itself is great, great sound quality (good basses AND good trebles) and very comfy and light for extended use.Unfortunately the wiring going into the cup is incredibly weak, I kept snapping my wire on my chair/feet, ended up going through about five of these headsets over several years before finally giving up and buying a Plantronics headset instead

Using these as a communication headset with my ICOM radio, not as sensitive as my Heil headset but at approx. 1/6 the price they are well worth the money. Build quality is ok but a bit flimsy in comparison to proper communication headsets , the frequency range of both the microphone (electret) and the speakers are a bit wide for communication use (no need for hi fi here) but they are designed for computer use which they will be fine for. The ICOM radio can easily be adjusted to restrict audio bandwidth, If I break them I would buy another set :)

Bought this headset for the Icom 73001 thing I did was take sponge off mic and put some tape on the outer side of mic then put sponge back onThe audio reports I get are outstandingStations contacted always ask what I’m usingNice and light with great sound

Initially worked really well and was very pleased with the headset, however after 3 weeks I found that the hinged microphone started to cause issues with the sound in the headphone. I think the wires may have broken inside from regularly rotating the mic up and down.I attempted to open them up to fix them myself thus invalidating any warranty, which was a mistake as they are a sealed unit. Now in the bin and very dissapointed.

This is my third pair of these. They fully surround my ears and the sound quality is good. It's not audiophile quality by any means, but if you're looking for that you aren't looking at this price point. With the help of our cat they've been dropped to the floor quite a bit, but none of the three I've had have ever broken. The reason for replacement has always been the ear cuffs, which eventually start to peel apart.

Got to know this brand when taking TOEFL. Works flawlessly. The only downside is that it squeezes my head a little bit too tight.

J'ai commandé ce casque en remplacement d'un autre (marque de distributeur) que mes enfants et mon chat se sont évertués à démolir pièce par pièce.Je voulais un casque de qualité (mon ancien était "basique", c'est-à-dire pas loin de pourri) mais à un prix raisonnable (pas 100 €) pour écouter de la musique, jouer et skyper.J'ai choisi celui-ci car il réunissait prix raisonnable et commentaires élogieux.Et bien bien m'en a pris, je suis entièrement satisfait de cet objet : il est léger, confortable même au bout de 3 heures consécutives de jeu (pas mal aux oreilles ni au cou), et le son est d'une précision et d'une amplitude remarquable. Le seul bémol est l'absence de réglage du son par une molette, mais bon, la perfection totale n'existe pas...Bref, n'hésitez pas, ça vaut bien un Sennheiser mais bien moins cher...
