MORTONS SALT SUBSTT PLAIN 3.18 oz

It is potassium based no salty taste but not meant for seasoning or flavoring (baking)

My husband says he can't tell the difference between this and "real" salt! He is supposed to watch his sodium intake, yet he is heavy with the shaker. This offered a solution tgat he is quite happy with We have it on subscribe and save.

I was hoping this product had improved in taste but it is the same potassium chloride it has always been. It's not bad when used in cooking a large amount but as a table shaker, I don't care for it. Shipping was fast and packaging was good.

So grateful that this is available here! For those on a sodium restricted diet, this still provides a close enough taste of salt to food.

Ok I was sent home from the hospital with heart failure and told I couldn't have more than 2000mg of sodium a day. I soon found out just about everything has salt in it. I very fast found out that food without sodium is blah and sometimes went in the trash. I got this with the hopes of getting some flavor back. This stuff works well in some recipes and in others seems to just get lost. I'm still trying it in different things to know what it works best with. I gave it 3stars because it works in only half of the stuff I've tried it in.
