Sturdy
Great items, long exiting line. This is the second one I’ve had as gradually over time the plastic shell casing does become brittle. You stop the line from continuing to stretch out by wrapping it round a protrusion on the casing, eventually after several years this can break off.

Easy to install. Great length
This was easy to install and love that it is retractable. Great length. Perfect for where I wanted to put it.

Excellent.
Love the fact that you can tuck this away. Installed it just behind the shed so can't see it at all when not in use. Sturdy and nice colour - fits perfectly with our black and grey themed garden.

Ok but not brilliant
I decided to try this brand because the line that I had got stuck and wouldn’t retract, the unit was sealed and there was no way of getting into it. Ok to install but I have found the small knob on the bottom to be so small and fiddly when trying to wrap the line around it to secure the tightness of the line. We have ours high so that I can hang long items on it and I have to stand on my tip toes to be able to wrap the line around which wasn’t a problem with the vileda one that I had previously because the knob underneath was larger so I could wrap the line around it easily. Won’t buy this brand again.

Has everything you would expect
The mounting bracket has useful keyholes so you can take it on and off the screws. However be careful you tighten the screws sufficiently because the recoil can be strong enough to cause it to jump off. The line is a bit thin but doesn't stretch noticeably.

Good value, robust but fiddly.
The housing and line are good quality and appear robust, as you would expect from Addis. The hook to secure the tightened line in place felt too flimsy for the job, so we used a metal cleat. The hook may well be sufficient, but given it's a fiddly affair, wrapping the tightened line and securing it, I didn't feel confident using the hook and it is extremely tricky to master. It's obviously personal preference, and it's designed to do the job. It was by far the best quality retractable line in its price range.
