This is an open face clock. The hands are flimsy and runs about 5 minutes slow. Fast shipping. Would not buy again. Looks nice but I like a clock that keeps accurate timing, and the hands on this clock are not very stable at all!. Also I want to mention this clock was NOT checked prior to shipping as the back of it was adhered sideways so there was NO way to hang the clock straight. I had to have the back re drilled with an additional hole so the clock could be hung right. CHEAP CHINA clock...

I bought the clock for it's size and style. It's a decent looking clock, appears well made with a painted face instead of paper. But it is in no way worth $74!!!! It lost 15 minutes a day!!! I had it up high and had to climb a step ladder every morning to reset it. The last clock I had in the same place was a very nice clock I picked up at Ross for $25. Unfortunately it got knocked down, but it kept time for two years until the battery died. I though the higher price was going to ensure good time keeping, but they made a nice clock with a CHEAPO mechanism. Boo!!!!

I thought the clock seemed a bit "cheap" looking at first. Still do. I noted the hands interfered with each other upon opening, and had to adjust them twice. The clock is quiet and has been keeping good time since. I expected a more quality clock for the price. It's a very light, very thin clock. I hung it over the fireplace. I'll keep it but I would not purchase it again. I wish I could have seen it displayed before I purchased it. Local stores have higher quality clocks for less $$.

I purchased this clock and it arrived three days ahead of expected delivery date. The clock was well packaged but the minute hand was loose and wouldn't stay in position. I called customer service and the gentleman walked me through how to fix the pin holding the hands in place (it had come loose during shipping). Once the AA battery was installed, the clock has kept perfect time and is completely silent, which makes it great for bedrooms. It is well made and looks beautiful. I purchased the 18-inch clock and almost wished I had gotten the 24-inch one. I'm very pleased with the clock and the service I received. I highly recommend this clock. Be sure to read the instructions that come in the box with the warranty info before you accidentally throw the box away.

Purchased the Galway clock in the 15" size to replace a 12" clock in same location in my family room. Although my 12" clock is beautiful, I had two issues since moving: (1) being able to read from distance (kitchen) and (2) glare on glass from adjacent window. The Galway clock solved both issues and is also very quiet--no ticking sound. It was even so well packaged for shipping that it took forever to get out of the box. Extremely pleased with purchase.

I had a wall clock that was perfect but no longer kept time even after changing the batteries. The clock looks exactly as pictured. Its very dark, numbers are easy to read, it doesn't make a sound , keeps perfect timing. It looks very well made. I wish I had ordered a bigger size. I measured the clock but the way the face is surrounded by a large dark rim , makes the clock face look smaller.

So I ordered the wrong size...too small, and had to send it back. The company was wonderful. Ordered a bigger and slightly different clock. You cannot hear it at all, and it's beautiful. The package was perfect so zero damages. I just love it.

I purchased this clock to hang on the wall in our study. It looks very elegant. We haven't had it but a few weeks but It appears to be keeping time well and no issues have arisen. Love it!
