Fairly new to being a partial wearer, I must have purchased every single denture adhesive out there! I seemed to be reapplying a few times a day which was really getting me down. I googled strong denture adhesive and this came up with fab reviews. It arrived and my god! As long as you follow the instructions it gives me 7-10 hours secure hold! I’ve now purchased the cleaning tabs as the glue was getting messy (normal cleaning if partial will not move it). Game changer! It’s so clean & shiny!!!! Don’t hesitate. Both are brilliant, I’ve re ordered both too!

As a newcomer to dentures I have been trying many products to see which is the best for me. Most products seem good for the first few minutes but I then find that any attempt at eating or drinking means the dentures become unstuck very quickly. I have not yet had the nerve to attempt to eat outside the privacy of my own home because of this. Although I have some problems with the upper denture it is the bottom full denture that gives me nightmares. I also do not like having to remove the gunk left behind by many of these products.And so I decided to try secure. I read the instructions carefully and ensured that the dentures were both perfectly dry before applying the product. I inserted the top denture first and it immediately felt good I then popped the lower in and bit down as instructed. My immediate thought was that the dentures actually felt comfortable and secure. These are first dentures as my teeth were only removed a few weeks ago and my gums are changing almost by the minute. Right away my confidence soared.After about an hour I tried a cup of hot tea and was amazed that this did not cause anything to happen. Normally my bottom denture would be floating and the top loose. For lunch I had a couple of eggs on some toast. I found I could easily eat the toast. OK I cut it into small pieces but I actually chewed and really enjoyed the meal with no interruption to sort out the teeth. The best bonus was nothing manged to get under the denture! I was doing the happy dance for this I can tell you.Several hours and hot drinks later the fit and seal is still good. I ate my evening meal with no issues.Finally it came time for bed. I got the bottom one out OK but the top one refused to budge so I left it in overnight and next day it was still fast. I also bought the cleaning tabs and found that this made getting the adhesive off very easy.I am totally converted to this stuff and can see I will be using it at least until I get my final set made next year. Most of all I look forward to now being able to eat most foods with confidence and to going out some time soon with no fear of emabarassment.

I was so hoping that I would get on with this denture glue as all the ingredients are natural rather than the other horrible glues on the market. Unfortunately that was not the case.The glue really stung my gums for about 5 minutes after first putting it into mouth, then it stopped.The nozzle is too big on the tube, so its impossible to only use a thin line of glue or little blobs. My dentures held really well for 2 hours, then the glue started oozing out over the sides of the dentures and didn't stop. It got so bad I began gagging and had to quickly remove the dentures and go back to using my normal glue. I do not have hot drinks only cold ones, so I know it wasn't what I was eating or drinking that caused the glue to ooze out. Infact I didn't eat at all while I tried it out.The taste of it was awful and smelt like bostick glue!I'm very disappointed but glad I tried it.

It's much more secure than Fixodent Plus, and unlike that is waterproof.But this is something of a double-edged sword.While it's more secure, when it eventually fails it's a catastrophic failure: suddenly there's no adhesion at all and things come adrift and start moving around easily.Fixodent tends to go a little springy or softer as it fails at the end of a day and can often be given a short life extension by clamping teeth together to reseat them.The other issue is that being waterproof, you end up with some plastic adhesive "worms" to fish out/detach from teeth/gums where Fixodent would just dissolve and break up - which makes cleaning at the end of the day a bit more of an adventure than it needs to be (and isn't, with Fixodent: warm water deals with that easily).But for the good and solid fix over most of the day (I don't think any of them last a full 24 hours, through eating and drinking) I'd still recommend it, provided you can manage the other aspects.

I bought this because it was recommended by my dentist. Don't get me wrong, it's good stuff, and better than I what I was using. But it's not as good as it claims. 12 hour holding power? Maybe it lasts that long if you never use your teeth for anything (yeah, right!) but no way has it lasted for that long. 1xper day? I wish! In my experience that simply isn't true. By the evening my dentures are starting to feel loose and a little uncomfortable, unless I remove them and stick them in again. Besides, who's day truly only lasts for 12 hours, even if it lasted that long? So claiming 1xper days seems wrong on a number of levels. I'd hoped for more. Having said all that, I will be ordering more. It's better than the alternatives I've tried. I just wish someone would invent something for dentures that truly does what it says it does.
