Great for all types of hair. Professional grade!
The only clipper I use. Cuts through all types of hair and never slows the motor down. It’s built to last, for professional use. The battery life is amazing, works well, it doesn’t get hot like the Andis trimmer. Sleek comfortable easy to use clipper. A bit on the heavy side if your wrist is starting to hurt. I can do 4 or more haircuts. Before it’s time to charge them when cutting hair between 15-20 min. The only thing I would have a concern about is the motor sometimes pulsates for some reason.

Top rated! Never mind to the other brands this is the best!
No longer do I pay $40 a week for my bear and taper fades I bought these 4-5 years ago and they still week today. This is top off the line when you prefer high quality, smooth and cordless fades!

Andis clippers
I really like the feel and weight of these clippers. I was surprised at how long the battery last. They cut very. I would recommend these.

Do not buy! This issue will happen if you own these.
I love these but they only lasted about 20-30 uses. I'm on my 2nd Andis 12660 with the same issue. My original corded Andis still going strong. Only ever had to replace the switch. These are very expensive to have manufactures defects like this.Every clipper is cleaned pretty much the same way.Oil/disinfectants like h-43 or other gets on the board and burns it up.Andis has great warrantee service but you need to register it.Huge pain in the ass and you still need to pay for shipping.Do not buy! This will happen if you own these.

Professional Tool
EDIT: Everything below is true --- but battery life is inadequate for a busy shop. Depending how fast you are, you'll get a couple of cuts but it breaks up your flow when you have to stop and plugin the cord....I bought a cordless clipper for a reason. ANDIS: MAKE THE BATTERY HOT SWAPPABLE!!!!!This is a professional tool, make no mistake. It feels in your hand just like a Master corded model, and cuts very similarly. This is not a magnetic motor, rather it is a rotary so if you have fade blade, or pfat blade, I expect it would work as well you just need to install an adapter. The battery is not user replaceable. Andis made the same mistake with the Supra a few years ago, and later fixed it with a hot-swap battery. I hope they redesign the master to be the same. Its life is far less than the Oster Octane which is a fixed not adjustable blade which I prefer. For a casual non professional user the battery life won't be an issue -- it will cut long enough to do several services, however it then requires use of acord _or_ a downtime to charge. ALso, if the battery fails, it will take time send back to the factory to have it serviced. No bueno. The interior pieces are plastic -- the blade set screws if over torqued will strip out the plastic nubs. No bueno again. The case is at least partially metal --- so it is heavy. I do not consider that a negitive, I like the hefty feel. But since plastic is used, it is only a "feel" it is not your fathers Andis Master.2 strikes --- so it barely makes my scoring system, where I would start to consider (3 strikes its out!) other alternatives like BaByless, which also makes a very respectable product.Note to andis -- stop chasing the price to the bottom, and start making quaility made in the USA again. My 'kit' used to be entirely Andis. T Outliners, BGRC, and of course Masters. But you're slipping and have started to become only a cheap cosmeticly simlar knock of brand of yourself. its like watching LeBron James chasing a loose ball.

The weight is something to get used to but it’s all I wanted when I brought the clipper

Quality product
I recently purchased this product after using my Andis Pro corded unit for years, which still performed great. This new unit is a significant advancement in technology and improvement. It charges quickly, is lightweight, and delivers a smooth cut. With over 30 years of experience in cutting my own hair, I can confidently say that this is an excellent product.
