Stop looking for room filling black lights right now. I have tried EVERY commercial and industrial fixture on amazon and these are by FAR the BRIGHTEST and farthest throwing lights. 3 of them Covered an entire 10,000 sq ft sanctuary. The only down side is these suckers are BRIGHT!! You cannot look at them without effects. We have them ceiling mounted and they work great. I used 2 small ADV uv Panel HP to light up tables and games. They do not get NEAR as hot as any bulb black light. These are pricey, but you might only need one vs 3 or 4 traditional fixtures. Led's will last longer than 400 watt bulbs that come with the eliminator or the UV cannon. Dmx controllable also is a plus. These are indeed awesome. I would not recommend these for small events (unless outside) or rooms. They are powerful.

Based on the reviews, this should light up a large room. We tried it out and decided we would need another 3 to make it work in the room. I will attempt to return it.

Beautiful light. Runs a little warm but not hot. I wish sound active mode and other commands were on the remote (as on their mega bar products) but not a big deal, although for more $$$ you expect at least as good a remote as the less expensive lights. Registering your product is an ordeal, however. For some reason on both lights I bought, there is a sticker that says s/n# which is blank. Next to it is another sticker with a number but no "s/n#" so you're just supposed to know that's how they do it. After a long run-around with their customer service, we figured out the problem and then they agreed to allow me to register online instead of the 1950's era process they have in place where you mail them proof of purchase as if you were sending out to get a t-shirt from the back of a cereal box. Oh well it works fine and has a great warranty. Bottom line: the rich color and blacklight effect cannot be produced by their Mega Bar 50RGB Rc, which I have and am pleased with, but which cannot rival this light on those two counts. You pay more for better quality but not necessarily better or more features.

Worked great for a bit more than a month. And then suddenly stopped working.[EDIT - May 2021] I ended up fixing it myself, shortly after this review, back in 2015. And it has been working perfectly since, even through heavy use. I can't believe it's only 20W. It's a bit pricy, but it delivers better results than some other lights rated 4 times more power!

AMAZING. Used it to light up one half of the large gym for our black-out pep assembly. PERFECT! Throws light!

Use them for school dances. Great out-put. Light up the entire school cafeteria.

I am not a dj... i just bought this light cause i wanted 2 throw a neon party for my son... i have a very huge living room that i throw partys in and this uv light did the job we had so much fun...
