Marvelous Machinery/The Royal Engine (Thomas & Fri

Short version: It’s not a great book.
Long version: There is not much to go off of unless you’ve seen the episodes. It’s basically an abridged version of the episodes “Thomas and the Royal Engine” and “A New Arrival,” and as a result, the story kind of flies by at break-neck speed without giving the reader a chance to latch onto anything substantial. Actually, that’s a bit of an understatement. Each sentence describes a major event in the episodes, and little effort was put into make each sentence flow organically into the next. It’s more like a series of bullet points. The pictures are screenshots from the episodes, and unfortunately, they are the most uninspired, bland frames of animation the publisher could have picked. The overall print job and total package is also extremely poor. The 2-in-1 gimmick is fun, but ultimately I have to say there are much better Thomas books out there.

Great 2 in 1 story book however very thin and cheaply made for the cost so a little disappointed.

Different region
My son couldn't even play the end thing because it was the UK version.and not the United States version. Waste of money. I know there was no way I ordered this.
