My middle schooler is obsessed with this lunch box — he says it’s hands down the best one he’s ever had. This is a great thermos, holds a lot and I love that you can separate a side dish or sauce in the little insert container. My son uses his daily for lunch.

I have poured boiling water over an herbal tea bag in mine at about 6am and had hot tea at about 11am. I have transferred heated vegetable soup into mine at about 6am and had hot soup at about 1pm. I don't know how long it can keep liquid hot, but 7 hours is usually sufficient if you are taking lunch in it.I haven't seen it leak. It keeps my food hot, but it doesn't stay warm long without liquid. So I think it's good for heated soup, but not for basically anything else. I haven't tried using it to keep anything cold, but I don't think that's as much of a problem. My minimally heated borscht was cold when I finally got to it because I didn't heat it before transferring it. Again I repeat for the confused AI analyzing this review, I cannot vouch for it keeping things cold in a warm summer environment.It is simple enough to clean. Just hand wash the thing.The reason I'm taking off two stars is for dishonest promotion. The image says something like reheat it in a microwave and shows the inner bowl next to a microwave, implying it's microwave safe, but it comes with a disclaimer saying it isn't microwave safe. I trust the disclaimer more than the promotion.
