K**!
I can't fault the eyeshields - but the packaging loses them a star!
Firstly, these USA-made eyeshields were purchased through Amazon's 'Global Store' for £12.54 including delivery - a very significant reduction in overall cost compared to Amazon UK's £19.99 with free delivery only on orders over £20! They were delivered from Las Vegas to me in the UK in less than a week. That's probably as quick as Amazon Prime these days. The shields fitted the eyepieces of my Hawke Frontier ED X binoculars simply and easily. They're comfortable and do a great job of excluding distractions and light from all sides. They seem to be very good quality and should last well.Although I normally wear spectacles, I don't when using binoculars as I've sometimes found focusing more awkward and had a bad experience with friction wear on the coatings of my lenses. With the sides of the eyeshield folded back and a minor adjustment to my diopter setting, however, these would be usable (but less effective) when wearing spectacles. While I believe you're unlikely to find better eyeshields, I'm bewildered by the packaging. A large metal box (5¾ x 3½ inches/14.5 x 8.5 cms) for just two small, flexible rubber eyeshields is ridiculous! I would have preferred a less-expensive product mailed in a lightweight, environmentally-friendly pack.

good but...
Well packaged and presented but it must be said the packaging is probably worth more than the eye cups. Work really well but the stretch to fit idea is ok until they've been on a while when they start to slide off when you're getting the bins out of the bin storage. Mine started to pull off after ~3 months and I lost one about a month later. With hindsight I would have glued them on, but having lost one I made a perfectly serviceable spare out of an old bicycle inner tube. You can get a new bicycle inner tube for a fiver and use it to make at least 20 eye cups.So overall very good, but expensive, short lived and unnecessary packaging.

not worth the money
These are worth about £1.00 at best. The are like they are cut from Bicycle trye tube. They stick them in a metal tin packaging in an attempt to justify the price they are charging. They are not going to get damaged in transit, they're made of rubber. You do not need to the tin to then store them in, they'll stay on your bins. I put these on a set or Canon 10x42L IS WP. They go on very tight and hence spread out backwards. You then can't put your caps back on so need to make a decision what's important the most. The rubber things do help, to a degree, with blocking out some unwanted light but frankly, get a cycle tyre tube and cut yourself some and try it and see if you think it's worth the money before ordering.
