DO "NOT" PURCHASE THIS PHILCO PORTABLE CD PLAYER BOOMBOX
I do "not" write reviews...this is an exception!This product does not deserve any stars, but I had to mark one to submit this review!I originally ordered this Philco Portable CD Player Boombox on April 10 for a present. I could not return it because it was after the return date when I found out it only worked for a few hours.I ordered another Philco Portable CD Player Boombox on June 25 to find this one didn't work long either, but I was able to return this one and receive a refund.So here I sit with a none working Philco Portable CD Player Boombox that I purchased April 10th and am also out $29.99.If you buy this product, make sure you try it out and use this product "a lot" before the return date expires.Very disappointed!!!

Small and sounds great
Rec'd this as gift. Just love it. It sounds great. Only complaint is that the volume seems backwards - I always turn it down when I need it louder and visa versa. It goes against a natural instinct, if that makes sense. And the on off switch is a little tiny bit odd like that too - easy to instead of shutting off you go wrong way and turn the radio part on. Not a reason to not buy - great value - but lose a star for those reasons.

Needs station digital readout
Good price, but not easy to select stations. You have to use a small knobs on side to get channels, but no digital readout to know which one you have.

HAPPY with my investment
Lightweight, small, solid build, handy, corded or battery, good sound, radio (no antenna), no headphone capability, ... I owned one since 2017 and love it. I just bought a second to keep at another location. Very pleased.
