Will this fit the Carri Chef 2

Yes it does, and it makes connection much simpler. I have a hose connected to my spare caravan propane cylinder and the quick release enables me to connect to the Carri Chef 2 without farting around with jubilee clips and a screwdriver every time you need to fire up the BBQ - more time for wine!

Can this be used on a Dometic portable fridge that is connected to a LP propane gas bottle?

Hi As long as the thread fits your fridge and you are using 8mm gas hose, then thee is no reason why you couldn't use this connection. Kind Regards Mark

I want to connect the flexible hose from the stove to copper pipe going back to the gas bottle. I need a nut and olive fitting for the copper pipe

The male quick connect fitting is designed for a hose and a jubilee clip to secure, you could use a small piece of hose from hose tail to pipe and secure with jubilee clips. Hope this helps
