No, it does not have its own battery, it is connected to the 12 / 24v socket

What is the difference between this 009519 compressor and the 12266 inflator?

12266 is mains connected, meaning will only run off standard plug socket in house or garage, no good if you're in the countryside

Mine came with a small booklet that included instructions in a number of languages, including English. German was the first in the booklet but there were others.

where is it manufactured?

I have absolutely no idea, but guessing it could be china, as when I went to use it for the first time the power button (the yellow one) did not work, and I had already missed my returns date on it. So paid alot of money for something that didnt work and couldnt send back! Being michelin I expected better.
