Woodlink WLNA32431 Dragonfly Squirrel Proof Feeder

I had the same one for many years, going on 10 now. My father in law has wanted the same one we have because he's gone through so many that have broken due to squirrels. I was happy to type in "dragonfly bird feeder" to find the EXACT SAME ONE! He's had it a couple of weeks now and loves it, no issues, very reliable.

I like the look and the amount of seed the feeder holds However, the birds do not like the feeder as well as the old tube feeder that hangs on the same tree. Also, the squirrels still eat easily.The best feature is it provides easy entertainment to my cats - we call it Bird TV - so that’s a great result

I bought two of these, one to replace an older squirrel proof feeder destroyed, I mean Obliterated, by squirrels. One is hung in a tree that the little monsters aren't able to access very well. The other is in the same place as the one I replaced. From the damage they did to my first feeder, given the metal around the feeding holes and the way the lid closes in this new feeder, I think I'll get some good use from it. Fingers crossed the squirrels aren't out there drawing up battle plans. The birds, on the other hand, are emptying it in 3 days or less. They love it.

Wow. Squirrels can not get to the seed. They do not get hurt, only confused, lol. We watch them jump or hang on to it - prob for them is that their weight brings down the cage and voila! No access! I have 2 very sturdy feeders.

Works well on keeping squirrels from eating my bird feed. I would prefer a larger diameter.

You can adjust the spring. As shown in the picture, wire the top of the spring down to the second or third rung on the cage. This will raise up the cage to the top and make it work for birds (but not squirrels).This thing is great otherwise- metal, cheap ($35 now), attractive, easy to clean, big. Adjust the spring as shown and enjoy!

It’s easy to fill and it definitely keeps squirrels out. The only thing wrong is I wish it had a couple more feeding ports. Other than that the birds and I think it’s great

Not completely squirrel proof. I had to burn a hole in a plastic pot and thread it through the wire, upside down, to stop squirrels unscrewing the top. Works a treat. My second gripe is the perches. For some reason (maybe to make it easier to pack) the perches fold up. I have to go out most days to make sure the pesky squirrels haven’t folded them up in their attempt to get at the seed. That would make it impossible for the birds to get to the seed.
