As an avid sewing fan, and a plus-sized lady who has a hard time finding things that fit, I was so excited to check the measurements and find that this would fit me---with room to spare!I have had this on my wishlist, no joke, since two years prior the pandemic. I don't know WTF was wrong with me that I didn't spring on these earlier! The color is true to picture, the padding is warm without being super bulky like a 90s puffy ski jacket, and I can literally wear it for two, two and a half seasons (autumn through mid-spring I'm betting) without it being too warm.Machine washable, too, and being able to tie it multiple ways made this one of my dream purchases. Holy crap. You will not regret buying this; that other comment about the pockets wasn't kidding. This is incredibly well made, and possibly the first thing I've bought in years that didn't give me lingering buyer's remorse. Brand loyalty is a polite understatement; I have other things on my Never-Ending Wishlist from this brand, that I'll be investing in as soon as possible. Shipping took a while, but dang was it worth the wait.

Will use as an extra layer on cooler evenings and for lounging around over the holidays.

This jacket was surprisingly well-made in this day and age where we settle for poorly finished seams and haphazard construction. Coming from a sewing background I was surprised to find the seam pockets were not hanging loose on the inside of the jacket like you find so often, but were enclosed by the lining. I’ve been looking for a Hanten that’s not bulky and, though not technically a Hanten, fit the bill for far less than ordering one from Japan. It’s lightly padded … just enough to keep you comfy around the house. The only thing I would change is to change the seam pockets to a front pocket, as the seams sit too far back to be usable without reaching behind yourself to get you hands in the pocket; I’ll probably do my own mod to add an inside front pocket just below the left breast. In spite of this, I am over the top about this jacket!

Very cute piece, might be small for it is an Asian one size.

Difficult to wrap around for a 120 lb women like me.
