LED Logic Smart Light Bulb - Motion Sensor PIR, Warm White, (B22 Bayonet Base), 60 Second Timer [Energy Class A]

I bought this to use in my hallway as the light switch is further down the hall when you enter from the front door. Overall does the job efficiently as it saves the effort of stubling throught the doorway in teh dark and trying to find the light switch, but the light could be warmer.Pros:- The sensitivity works at the right distance for me - about 2-3m before the light turns on.- The light turns on quickly with little delay.- The light is even.Cons- The description says warm white, but I would say it is simply white light, as the colour temperature doesn't really extend to warmer tones i.e. it is harsher than a standard energy saving light bulb.- A possible negative for some people is that it shines light downwards only, since the 'light' section of the bulb is on the bottom half (with the silver casing on the top half).

LEDs are finally getting near illumination levels of that dreaded phrase "equivalent to xxWatts". This bulb is more than bright enough for a 50-60w incandescent replacement.As others have said it is not a warm-light (hence the star docked) - which begs me to wonder how much cooler the "cold" version is? For info the bulb is rated at 3000-3500 Kelvin - I would suggest adding another 1000 to those figures.The sensor works very well - I have likely got it in an optimum position (high up, minimal shading). Our house only needs one of these bulbs - if we had needed several I think the price would have put us off (£20).

this bulb will not function if there is even just a little bit of light, it must be very dark to function normally.

I got this for my small hallway. The PIR range is highly variable, sometimes you have to be right under it, other times it will work fine. (It also sometimes turns on at random).The light is also no where near the 60W advertised, not even close to a "60W equivalent" energy saving bulb, I wouldn't want to read even directly under it but it's fine for finding your way around at night.I brought this about two years ago, and it's just stopped working, which is why I'm back here leaving this review. For the price, it's very much not worth it.

This simple plugin lightbulb has changed my life. I fitted one in my bedroom just out of sight of my bed. Now whenever I enter my bedroom when the available light is poor, e.g. at night, the lightbulb illuminates without having to operate any switches. It switches off after about 1 minute if no further movement is detected. During daylight the lightbulb remains off. I can be watching TV in bed and in darkness and the lightbulb will remain off because I am not in the line of sight of the lightbulb and it cannot detect my presence or movement. However, if I stick my leg out of my bed the lightbulb will illuminate, hence illuminating by path. I won't step or trip over anything accidentally fallen onto the floor. Wonderful! This lightbulb is also an efficient energy saving device. It consumes very little power when illuminated and it switches off when not needed. No more wasted energy by leaving the lights on accidentally. It saves money too.

This works fine on the landing where I wanted it to be. Coming up the stairs you need to quite close for it to switch on. The light quality is good and it switches off in a timely manner.

Is proving very useful, quite sensitive and stays on for exactly the 60 seconds quoted. Situated in a good sized hall it gives a very good light at 7W which compares well with the other LED light bulbs I have. It is a very simple way to provide automated light. Only used for 2/52 and I hope it continues to function for several years. It was expensive but negates the need to fit a separate PIR switch. Worth the extra money for the simplicity in fitting.

Took a while to get here as it comes from China. It arrived after about ten days. The instructions are in Chinese although there's not a lot of need. There's no adjustment of any of the sensors, just plug it in and go. We have ours in an outside porch light and tried it yesterday for the first time and it does exactly what it says on the tin. A decent light that becomes active at dusk and which turns on when someone comes into range of the sensor. I've no idea how it will handle a cold winters night or how long it will last but right now is doing exactly what i wanted it to do and so it has to be four stars. Quicker delivery would have got the extra star
