Great Product. Easy to Install.
I have 4 of these Rainpoint water timers that manage my entire landscape watering system. They work flawlessly, are super easy to install, set up and require no maintenance other than battery replacements which I do once a year. I live in Florida so I do change my watering times in the summer to water more frequently and less frequently in the winter months. Manual watering is also easy to activate when needed. As you can see in the pictures I put this unit under the shed skirting to keep it out of site. I also use 2 of these units to manger my entire side yard with over 50 tropical plants. This unit also works flawlessly. As you can see by the picture, my tropical garden is in great shape and gets watered daily. I also installed this timer in a water box below ground in my paver area. If you have questions or need help Rainpoint has a toll free number that is quickly answered with friendly help. I highly recommend you give these a try. Great price.

Great Products
Great products and great/responsive customer service. I own 3 of these units and they are awesome and so convenient. Had one hiccup with manual on/off button but the customer service team fixed the issue.

Works great!
I bought this timer nearly two years ago and it’s still working great. It’s in a full sun area and is holding up great. I just bought 2 more for irrigation at the girlscout camp I volunteer at.

Reliability is a MUST - only time will tell
I have been using hose timers to irrigate areas on my property for over a decade now, from May through October. I have become discouraged about the high failure rate I have been experiencing from the Orbit (half of the ones I’ve purchased fail within the first year or two, whereas some have lasted for 5+ years - but it’s a crap shoot and my most recent failure was a valve that didn’t close which added hundreds of $$ to my water bill). So thought I’d try switching to the Rainpoint brand. Seems to be working reliably so far but only time will tell. Quality does seem better than the Orbit so I’m hopeful, no leaks and the connections seemed easier. BUT, it took me several attempts to get the valves to open and close initially. You must follow the instructions in the users manual EXACTLY as stated. I’m so familiar with hose timers that I felt it shouldn’t be necessary to follow this very specific procedure. Therefore I dropped a star. But the rest (installing and programming) is super easy. I’ll be happy if I can get more than just a couple of irrigation seasons out of this and if so, I’ll come back and give it the full 5 stars. Oh, and when using hose timers, to make them last, it’s important to keep them out of direct sunlight (cover them with a cloth or something) and don’t leave them connected outside during the cold and/or wet winter season - a bit of a hassle but necessary for longevity.

We have been using the water timer now for a week. So far so good. It was easy to set up and turns the water on as programmed. We love the second spot so we can have 2 zones for our irrigation system.

It really has the extra pressure and greater flow compared to the cheaper versions, Very happy with the results!

This dual water timer did not leak, was easy to program and has been working really well with our drip hoses to keep some of our garden watered.

On its second season now. The UI is close to perfect: you set a the current time of day, a start time and an interval (12 hours, 1 day, 2 days, etc.). This means it doesn't need to know the day of the week, and if you want 4x per day you set ONE start time, not 4, and then it just goes every 6 hours after that. The second zone does add some clicking and complexity and there's no avoiding that. The single-zone version of this device would be the perfect timer.
