AirUtopia : Hong Kong Kai Tak Airport Video DVD: The Final Days (Airport, airliner, plane, airplane, aircraft FILM)

Title did a poor job of explaining the content that was really on the video.

I have seen many aviation DVD's from different companies which produce them and "Kai Tak : The final days" from Airutopia is the most fascinating one for many reasons : This DVD shows an airport built in the middle of Hong Kong (But closed in 1998 so the footages are unique !) and incoming planes need to perform a sharp 60° turn and next a perfect attitude to be properly aligned with the runway otherwise they would "overshoot" it.There is an amazing narration part at the beginning after the beautiful "musical ouverture" and later in the video many upcoming subtitles provide great didactical info.This video is very "dynamic" and a lot of action is going on. The camera has been positioned at many different locations and there are also great night views included. "Airutopia" did gather a lot of information about "Kai Tak" airport and this DVD will also make you much smarter ! The bottom line is : "Highly recommended" !
