I’m finding it more and more difficult to bathe with my chronic illness and feeling dirty causes me great distress
I’m not over the moon with these products exactly, but they’re passable for what I need within reason. I’m finding it more and more difficult to bathe with my chronic illness and feeling dirty causes me great distress. So I’ve looked for alternatives and this was suggested by others in my position. The foam soap I like, it has a very subtle soapy (yay, clean!) scent but not too noticeable. It pumps out easily and slides on smooth. Only a problem I’ve found is it just seems to dissipate into the skin and my hands before I’ve really got anywhere. Im constantly having to pump more into my hand for a half or full body wash. When you’re exhausted you ideally just want to be able to glide on a few times max and wipe off. For me this isn’t that much less tiring than a bath or shower. Only difference is the drying is easier but the cleansing is almost as exhausting. So more often than not I’m resorting to bedbath wipes with or instead of these for a quicker, just as effective wash.Similarly the shampoo is a real problem for me. It’s not like a normal shampoo in that it comes out like water, so I’m squirting it into my palm then rapidly having to slap it on to my head to get the product on. Like the soap it doesn’t spread that far and so multiple applications leave me with an unevenly dispersed amount of product to massage (which is doesn’t do all that well if you’ve got lots of hair) in. But most problematic for me, given the watery consistency, is to get a good covering of it without spilling it everywhere I’d need to hold it over my head and just start dousing. The problem with this is I can’t hold the bottle above my head and squeeze properly at the same time and, even if I could, it makes a mess dripping down and off my hair before I can rub it in.These products are useful at a push for me, and are certainly better than nothing when I’m up to using them, but they’re not the game changer I hoped for. Not without someone to help me in particular which is counterproductive as my independence in performing such ‘simple’ tasks remains a real priority for me.

didnt work for me
I have read mixed reviews and still thought to give it a go. I have long thick hair and shampoo was terrible. I used it with foamer and done everything by instructions but after my hair were exactly the same, looking greasyBody wash leaves little bit sticky residue that you can sort of roll it off the skin if you know what i mean

Does as it says, no water needed. Festival ready no more dry shampoo.
Worked wonderfully for camping. No longer relying n dry shampoo for the full festival. The shampoo is very runny liquid but it works wonderfully, you apply to your hair, rub as you would with water and shampoo in the shower, then towel it off. Result clean and nice smelling hair. The shower gel is a foam and easy to use again no water is needed you just use and towel dry after. Avoids the need to que for messy festival showers. Although this is advertised as a medical problem its an essential for the festival season. Buy a large bottle and dispense into small reusable plastic bottles.

festival life saver! :)
I first bought this stuff for my aged Nanna (coz I'm a good girl at heart despite appearances but that's another story), but then remembered that queueing for the showers at the Sweden Rock Festival last time was a lot less fun than staying with the rest of the bums around the beer mountain, so I treated myself. It arrived this morning so obviously had to make sure it was worth adding to the weight in my rucksack. I used the shampoo with fab results and i'm one very happy RockChick! :DThis product is perfumed but not overly so, it worked a treat on my colour treated mop and didn't turn it into a totally unmanagable birds nest after the vigorous towel drying as instructed on the bottle - it was reasonably easy to comb through afterwards. Need to add that I have a very sensitive scalp and it didn't cause any problems at all, which I was very wary of to start with. So there you have it - it worked for me! YAY!! I'd definitely recommend it. (Oh, and Nanna says it's rather fab too! :) )

So grateful I found these products
I have just had ankle fusion surgery so cannot shower for several weeks. This review follows my first application of both the body wash and the shampoo. The body wash is lovely and makes me feel clean and fresh. It is only very slightly perfumed, so perfectly suitable for both men and women, as it doesn't leave any lingering after smell. It isn't sticky and cleans off with a towel very well. The shampoo has left my hair clean and easy to style back into my usual bob. I did find it slightly sticky in parts, but think that may be because I applied a little too much of the product in places. I have very thick hair, so thought I would need quite a lot. It certainly looks well and is smooth and soft.I am so glad I found these products, as being incapacitated can be depressing. Being able to keep clean and sweet smelling certainly helps one to feel more normal and keep ones dignity.
