PrimusPower Lighter Red -

I have had three of these now, and really like them as it forms part of my EDC list. Why three....well there is a comment on quality there as my first one literally fell apart after about five years of average use (2-3 week) but that was more likely due to being in my pocket all the time with keys etc. For me I accept this given these are not that expensive so I am happy with 5 years. The second one my son left on the side of a bonfire and melted....needless to say he is no longer allowed to use my new one. What i really like about these is the ergonomics and the intensity of the flame....literally like a small gas tourch. Drawbacks are they are very susceptible to any dirt in the burning chamber (Won't light or burn properly), and will require cleaning especially if you keep in pocket. (To clean, open and hold back cover and use needle to make sure jets are clear). They also need filling with gas regularly, but again a trade off against the intensity of the flame generated. Overall I have yet to find a lighter I like better.

A bit pricey in general for a high powered lighter but it a nice bit of kit

It worked for about 10-12 ignitions then went on the blink. It would only fire up after first turning the gas flow to zero and then turning the gasflow to max. Then it would fire up a couple of times then cough and die once again.Honestly, a flame can be a lifesaver and simply has to work as expected. on that note buy a couple of Bic lighters and be done.Thought i'd be all fancy with this, lesson learned.

Works a treat. One of the better jet lighters I have owned.

A good lighter however as with all turbo flame lighters I have owned (and I have had quite a few ) it can be temperamental and requires purging on occasion. It also has a useful clear plastic window to view the gas level which does not stand up well to being dropped from from a few feet as it cracks easily (made in China) if it was a £10 cheaper I wouldn't care so much but primus are supposed to be a premium brand for the outdoors.

Very good lighter - excellent for church candles. You can see when it is running out of fuel.

It’s cool

When it worked it was good but after 6 months of occasional use it stopped working. It was not used in harsh conditions or ever handled roughly so rather disappointed it hasn't lasted.

Ich hab mich gerade entschieden nach 1,5 Jahren dem Feuerzeug mal eine sehr gute Rezession zu schreiben. Leider sind Feuerzeuge zu einem Wegwerf Produkt geworden, aber dieses Feuerzeug leistet uns seit 1,5 Jahren sehr gute Dienste und ich würde es immer wieder kaufen. Funktioniert einwandfrei. Empfehlenswert !!!

Muy buen mechero, enciende incluso boca abajo, lo he probado ya y la llama es muy potente y puntiaguda, se puede rellenar con gas azul universal, al principio le costo arrancar pero ahora va a la primera, ojo los fumadores que puede dañar el cigarro, ocupa muy poco espacio y me es muy util para cuando voy de acampada con la moto, el envio rapido y todo bien.

Un briquet de très bonne qualité avec une conception parfaite. Les matériaux utilisés sont en métal avec un recouvrement^partiel anti dérapant, (pas du plastique à durée de vie limitée). La flamme chalumeau ne craint pas le vent fort et l'allumage du réchaud, à carburant pour ma part, se fait facilement.

Cercavo un accendino da inserire nel mio kit di sopravvivenza che sostituiva acciaiarino e fiammiferi. La fiamma e forte e brucia in freta qualumque cosa. Si ricarica con una qualunque bomboletta a gas per accendini.
