Well Made and Fit for Purpose
Like most items with poor online reviews, if people took the time to study what the advert said about the product there would be no poor reviews.Check you have the right size wheels, the correct frame width and and a quick release skewer. If you tick all those boxes, this frame will work for you.Of course it makes a noise if you use off-road tyres, but I don't find it any louder than my rowing machine. If it bothers you, buy slicks.I'm as dim as can be when it comes to bikes. I had to take my mountain bike out of the garage and check the tyres were still serviceable before I opened the stand. I need it for rehabilitation after a ruptured Achilles tendon. Having done that, and pumped up my tyres, it took me no more than ten minutes to have it ready to use. That includes needing to change the quick release skewer (provided) because the ends of mine didn't fit securely enough in the frame. It's surprisingly easy to do.The frame is well-made, robust and easy to use. I lowered my seat a little as it feels very high when mounted on the frame.I had no issues with stability because the front wheel was in the riser block (provided). I strongly recommend not buying a trainer frame without a riser. Conclusion - I'm happy with the item and happy to recommend it.

Great value
Excellent piece of kit and great value for money. I agree with other reviewers that road tyres are best as off road tyres make a little noise. Having said that, when the weathers real bad and I can't get out on the bike, I can now do an hour indoors. It's well made and considering the cost it favourably compares with some of the more expensive models on the market. There is a little self assembly but nothing too taxing. Setting the bike up for the first time was a bit cumbersome so you might want to grab a spare set of hands to help but once you have everything set, all you need to do is slacken off one side to release the bike and it's easy to drop the bike back in next time around and tighten one bolt.A month later and I have to say this is definitely the best piece of kit I invested in, bike aside. Even after a mornings riding I find myself strapping the bike into the trainer and doing another hour in the evening as it's so robust and easy to use.Edit: we are now in March 2015 and I have used this daily sometimes twice a day for an hour at a time through the winter months. After a couple of weeks it got a bit laborious taking the bike in and out so I could use it on the road and this is my only gripe with it but now I have four bikes and one of which was salvaged and is now just dedicated to leave in the Turbo Trainer with the same gearing as my main bike so I can get the same workout either out on the road or in the TT. Hope this review helps you decide.

OK all in all
All good overall. Little noisier than I expected but to be fair that is because I have fat chunky tires on rear of bike currently so once that's sorted I suspect it will be much quieter.

A simple solid trainer giving excellent value
Arriving two days after ordering the trainer was well packed and although the instructions were fairly sparse it was easy to set up. It is fairly heavy and, especially considering the price, well made with neat welded joints and robust fixings. The rear wheel is securely held between two sockets which are fine with rapid release wheel fixings and adjust by sliding the two locking collars outwards and then twisting the wing shaped handles to tighten firmly and then sliding the locking collars back inwards. The roller contact can be adjusted over a small range to cope with tyre size. I use a standard 26 inch 700c road bike but I think it would alter to fit a 24 inch wheel and maybe a 29 er. It is important that the tyre is well inflated as it would be for the road but the roller only need to touch the tyre not to distort it. A heavy tread would make it noisy. The whole thing feels perfectly secure in use, the resistance of the roller cannot be altered but you can change the effort required over a wide range by simply changing gear. The simplicity of the machine means that it is unlikely to suit a serious cyclist doing serious training, but for someone like me who just wants a bit of exercise during the cold wet winter months it is excellent value.

Great value, effective for QR wheels
Easy to assemble and attach your bike, although make sure the tensioner is located properly. Had to replace the rear skewer with the one provided as the ends were not compatible. This took about 60 seconds to do. If you do not have quick release wheels, it may fit onto the existing wheel but have not tried that yet. The resulting assembly is remarkably sturdy and it works really well. With mountain bike tyres, it does get noisy so I would recommend getting a slick tyre if you are going to use it for any extended period. Great value and quick delivery.Update: tried this with non-quick release wheel and the clamp sits over the axle perfectly. Also, this bike had road tyres and it was much quieter.

Great sales team
Popamazing offers an amazing service! I wanted to return the trainer, not because it was a bad product but because I realised that cycling indoors is absolutely nothing for me. Officially, they don't offer returns but I asked and they kindly replied that if I really don't want it I can return it. There were some minor issues with receiving the refund but they replied to every one of my messages kindly and within a day and reassured me that I will get it back, which I did. Many thanks to the team that is responible for costumer communicatino! The trainer itself is fine. Stable, easy to assemble. The hooks have a gap (about 5mm) so that the handle of the quick release can fit but not every quick release spanner will fit. I had to buy one for trainers (which I also returned to the bike shop). The plastic that goes around the metal hooks looks as if it won't last forever but it's not important. The trainer is quite loud, you might need earphones to understand every word in a movie, but I don't think it'll annoy the neighbours. But maybe that's just a feature of every trainer and of which type of wheel you use. You don't need a front lift, I just used an old towel.
