Good design, however manufacturing issues cause problems with the wrist support popping out.
The gel cushion arrived disconnected from the base and without any backing plastic to protect the adhesive, assume this was because it was meant to be pre-fitted, however, because the insert is slightly larger than the plastic moulding allows it has a tendency to push away from the plastic and ride up. After much squeezing and manipulating it seems to fit quite snugly however I do wonder if it will remain in place. Despite the issue with the wrist rest the remainder of the unit seems fairly well designed, the non-slip pads provide enough grip for my Surface Book 2 and the angle and position are both comfortable and valuable - hence two stars rather than 1.

mediocre
This is alright but the rest doesn’t sit flat, so is very annoying. it pops out as soon as you push it in. better design needed!

Best for larger laptops, anti-slip pads are a bit lacking.
My husband does a lot of top up work in the evenings and studying for courses necessary for promotion and I wanted to make things a little more comfortable for him. This is good to a point. The angle it holds the laptop at is much better than a flat surface and more comfortable to work with typing, the gap underneath allows space for the heat to disperse, the gel wrist rest is ideal to reduce the strain and risk of RSI and carpal tunnel syndrome and the cable tidy is brilliant to prevent the spaghetti junction of wires but there are some weaknesses. The anti-skip pads at the wrist rest end are lacking in grippiness, one exuberant toddler slipping past mummy and patting the keys would mean the laptop would go sideways and possibly to the ground, the grips on the extension pieces located in a bag in the compartment installed at the 'head' of the stand have far superior grip, but my husband's work issue laptop (and thus not able to be changed for a different one) is too small to rest fully on these and sit right which is a shame. Also in comparison to other heat dispersal designs this isn't as open and I suspect whilst it may release some it s effective as other designs due to the very blocky and closed build for support over heat dispersal.Overall, I'd be disappointed if I had bought this, but it's not awful or unusable, I would just ensure your laptop is on the larger side (15 or 17")

Comfortable, but could be more stable
This is a decent laptop stand which positions your laptop in a manner that gives a better height for the screen and an easier angle for typing, and allows space under the laptop for heat to disperse. It has the added benefit of a wrist rest, which surprisingly few laptop stands include. The gel-based wrist rest is comfortable and really does aid with strain if you're typing for a long time. However, the laptop stand is not as stable as it could be and the non-slip grips could do with improving a little. It's also too large to be of much use for laptops smaller than around 14 inches. Overall, a reasonable choice if you're looking for an integrated wrist rest and have a larger laptop.

Slightly unstable
I'm a fan of laptop stands. They improve your posture while working because the screen is raised to a height that is more similar to that of a desk top monitor. While I like the cushioned gell pads for resting your wrists which does make typing on the keyboard more comfortable, I find that the best way to work without issues is to use a stand and a separate keyboard rather than to use the laptop keyboard on the stand. I found that using this version, I was uncomfortably close to the screen and the use of the laptop keyboard meant that the stand wobbled around on the desk. It's reasonably well built but for me, a better alternative is the Amazon Basics stand used with a separate keyboard and mouse combination.
