I Love K9 Advantix I!
The K9 Advantix II for small dogs is hands down the very best! The quality is good and it works great. The packaging is totally on point and it's a piece of cake to use! I really like that it includes 4 monthly doses too! I think it's great that it helps to protect my sweet little pupparoo from ticks, fleas, and mosquitos as well! Overall I give this product two great big thumbs way up and would definitely recommend it!

Great for flea and tick prevention
My vet recommended this brand for my dogs. This is one of the best flea medications I’ve found for my Pomeranian. He is 5-6 pounds and has access to the backyard with a doggy door. He is outdoors a decent bit and it’s been critical to keep flea/tick medication on him at all times. This medication works well and prevents fleas. It’s an easy application and doesn’t bother my dog initially. I find he usually gets a little itchy/excited/anxious a couple hours after it’s applied, but that does subside. I will continue to use this brand.

AdvantixII is a great product, but this specific this box?! Well...
*** Be advised that the product is 5 star. This particular box had no affect on fleas whatsoever. All others over past 3 years work great.I recently bought directly from the company replacement boxes and those work great as usual(This particular box did not work at all. The fleas were active, happy and on furniture and people.)

Great stuff for two weeks! Not four
Four stars only because I’m having to apply it every two weeks instead of four. Works wonderful for those two weeks. Stops working after that.

Works well and quickly
This worked great. It cleared up our flea problem in just a day. The dog tolerated the medication well. I recommend this product.

Works for 5 days
I have seen on here people saying that they have gotten bad boxes of this product. I don't know if that's what happened with me or not but I put this on my dog and the fleas disappeared. He wasn't scratching for about 5 days. Now he has fleas on him again and is constantly scratching. Like he was before. I had never tried this brand before but if it only lasts a week and it's supposed to last a month I don't think I will purchase this againUpdate:I tried the second dose as well and it did not work at all. He still had fleas by the end of the day and has been scratching like he was. I feel like I got ripped off. He's an indoor dog, I treat the yard, and I keep his area clean and I vacuum every other day. It's not like there is a huge infestation that he is subjected to.

Pretty sure it made my dog sick
We followed the instructions to a T. It's not our first time with K9 Advantix, but it was the first in a long time, as we have no problems with fleas and ticks in our area, but wanted to make sure o ur pups were protected against them while out in the wilderness for a camping trip.About 4 days after the application, our 6 yro Yorkie became extremely lethargic, stopped eating, drinking, and had several bouts of diarrhea. My husband noticed a rash on his back, from the base of the neck all the way to the middle of the tail. Thinking it to be an episode of gastroenteritis, we switched him to a bland diet peppered with probiotics, administered an anti-hemetic and kept an eye on his fluid intake. No changes. In several trips to the vet, we had his blood, urine and stools tested - no signs of g.i., heart or kidney issues. X-Rays and ultrasound showed no abnormalities. The doctor was at her wits' end, as we tried and tested everything we could - when we mentioned the flea/tick treatment, she showed concern and advised us to be aware of the adverse reactions such treatments might bear, especially on small breeds. This situation went on for almost a month until he started showing improvement. I'm cannot say I'm 100% sure K9 Advantix was the root cause of my dog's sickness, but considering the amount of tests ran and the fact it was the only "change" in his routine over the course of that month, I can't rule it out either. Just be careful and aware of the possibility of side-effects. We'll not be using it anymore, and with that we cannot recommend it again. :(
