What a pointless bit of kit. Comes with a continental plug and when we changed the plug it wouldn't work either. Also, think about it, an electric fondue set - the wire trailing across the dinner table as your guests dig in - if you're going to do fondue, stick to an independent source of heat so that the thing is freestanding and accessible.
