Barbie and the Diamond Castle [DVD]

I bought this for my 5 year old daughter and so far she has watched it 4 times in 3 days. I have to say, I can't fault Barbie movies. They always have great stories which girls love and aren't too painful for the adults to watch either. Barbie and her friend Theresa play Alexa and Liana who are best friends who go on a quest to find the diamond castle to rescue a girl stuck in a mirror by an evil muse. It's a story of friendship (with what I can't help thinking is a bit of a gay undertone to an adult). Suzanne Shaw of Hearsay / Dancing on Ice fame sings the end song and the music video is included on the DVD in the UK. As usual there are all the dolls and accessories to buy to accompany this movie. Flying horses and the little girls make an appearance at the end of the movie for a brief time (presumably so they can sell these too).

I recorded this movie on Sky+ for my little girl, and she absolutely loved it, I must say so did I.The songs and music are really good.In the box you get a "Best Friends" picture frame, which my daughter has put to good use, with a pic of her and her friend.A lot of the time kids will watch a DVD once and then get bored, but we have watched this so many times now, my dadughter, wife and I practically know the words by heart.if you are looking for a film to keep the kids quiet for an hour or so, you wont go to far wrong with this.

I still have this video that I bought for my daughter 21 years ago and it still plays, I'm keeping it for any granddaughters I may get lol .

The dvd is stopping on 3 places and doesn't want to move on. A real struggle to get it passed these spots and then off cause you have lost a part of the story! I was disappointed because I expected a product As New according to the advertisement. Unfortunately I couldn't get to the post office to send it back because of the lockdown.

Excellent! Im 16 and still lovin' Barbie. I collect all her movies and this on my opinion is one of her best yet next to swan lake. The movie is really enternaining and not childish at all. It has to be one of my favorites. Well done Barbie!Ps if you are like me and collect each of the Barbies from all the movies id recommend the swan lake doll, so beautiful!

It came befor it was due to and was a really good movie

My 9 year old daughter collects Barbie dvds and wanted Barbie and the diamond castle.I found it to be a great price and my daughter has watched it several times. It is a good buy for Barbie lovers and well worth the price.
