What an amazing book, great for kids and adults
What do you get for your kids during lockdown, it's hard managing kids and working from home. I bought this book after seeing a recommendation and I'm really impressed.I dropped chemistry and physics at school and did biology, which I have always regretted so my knowledge of chemistry is OK but I missed out of the basics that you learn at school.I've sat down with my 7 year old daughter and worked through the book in chunks and we both learnt stuff and I supplemented the content of my book by showing her videos from the Internet of chemical reactions and people like Marie Curie and Alfred Nobel. I feel like she's had some great science lessons and we've enjoyed some quality time together. We are continuing to work our way through the book and I would highly recommend the book.

A superb book that has my 6 year old hooked on science!
This book is just superb. My son loves the lift the flap books and we have others on different topics. What I love about this though is it takes something that could be difficult to teach young children and makes it accessible and relevant in the way it is set out and illustrated. My son is only 6, he is a very good reader and reads a lot of this himself but we've also read it together to support the element names. He's not put it down since we bought it, can highly recommend! Knowing this information is fundamental to life and will help them so much when studying science when they are older. Very impressed by the book.

Fantastic introduction to the periodic table
Bought this for my 7yr old but we’re all enjoying reading it. Hubby & myself were never really interested in science but I firmly believe it’s down to how it’s presented, and this is how it should be! The elements are grouped by colour and represented by delightful characters. Even my 4yr old is loving the illustrations and actually learning lots too. The 7yr old cant put it down!A brilliant book to have on the shelf (ours hasn’t gotten near a shelf yet!). Very straightforward and clearly explained. We love these books anyway but this is one of our favorites.

For all Ages
I bought this for my year 9 daughter who was struggling in science. It is bright and well laid out.Because it's aimed at early learning, the format is simple, eye catching and clear. It has helped her to learn the periodic table much better by cutting out unnecessary information and making it interesting.100% recommended for all ages!

Perfect for all ages!
I bought this book for my 5 and 7 year old, they love it, they’re so interested in learning about the periodic table and all the elements now. 2 hours we spent reading this together, I am finding it very interesting myself. So glad I bought it!

Generates science interest in Littlies.
Firm favourite of my eldest daughter (8). Though she is still wrestling with the concept of how chemical formula works. (Possibly an age thing.)

Perfect for those kids interested in science
This is great way to get to know the periodic table. The 7 year old it was bought for dips into it time and again, loves all the information it provides and enjoys learning to pronounce the words with a little adult help. Lift the flap is an excellent concept in this context.
