Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick Pillow Talk

The media could not be loaded. I discovered this lipstick when I received a small sample of it in a monthly makeup subscription. Although the price tag seems fairly high for a lipstick I can honestly say it’s justified! I do pride myself on finding cheaper alternatives for expensive makeup brands, but this lipstick really cannot be bettered, or even matched. The velvet matte feels so nice on the lips and doesn’t dry them out like other lipsticks do, the colour seems to be simply beautiful on all skin tones, the gold container makes the lipstick look sleek and shows it’s expensive. The small sample I had lasted so long, so I would imagine this full size lipstick will last for a very long time! The only con I can really think of is that it’s not a long lasting lipstick so you do need to reapply after eating and drinking, but it’s not designed as a long stay product so it’s just like any other lipstick in that respect really.

Brought for myself as it was a nice colour and good price. My daughter pinched it off me as she loved it.

Really nice lipstick but only stays on couple of hours on me. So hyped up about this brand and to be honest not that impressed.

I bought this a gift for someone who likes this particular brand and can only assume that it a product of good quality.

I bought this as my usual lipstick, Beauty Without Cruelty Bear All, isn't currently available. At nearly x 3 the price, I am disappointed, mainly because it isn't as moisturising. I was also hoping the colour would be a paler, taupe toned pink but this is a brighter red, almost a coral red (I am very pale) but the colour is OK for me without being a bright red.
