It learnt where everything is and maps it out and copes well even when things are moved. It does a really good job, I put it on the max setting. It seems to deal with transitions between carpet and rug well. It recognises hard flooring as well. Detects pesky charger cables so they don't get sacked up. We have a small dog 🐕 that does shed but still manages to bring a lot of dirt in the house that and two adult kids it has it work cut out.

First impressions are good - it's a smart, business like looking circular floor cleaner. It also brings a touch of science fiction into you house! A robot that does housework! It's fairly quick to charge, tho I'd recommend setting up the docking station to keep it charged the whole time. It's easy to set up and start cleaning but the app gives much greater control and is well worth using - a word of caution - neither my wife or I found registering & creating an ID very clear! So far we've used "Robbie" (I know, obvious name for a robot!!) on hardwood & no shag carpet, with equally good results! Robbie can navigate over different floor covering heights & knows not to go over the stairs! The dirt collector is easy to locate & empty. We've not had time to 'map' our rooms yet, which should improve navigation. As it is, Robbie can glide between chair legs, around objects on the floor & stop once he reaches obstacles such as doors, skirting boards etc. We set Robbie off in our kitchen/diner when we go to bed at night and away he goes! He works by running over the same spot several times and beating his brushes to pick up dirt, dust & any small articles on the floor. We've only used the cleaners 'dry' option so far & will try out all it's features over time A second docking station would be really useful to keep upstairs. Only slight issue is it does take a while to clean a room, hence we tend to set it to run when we aren't in the room. Both my wife & I would recommend this cleaner 100%!

We have tiled and wooden flooring with the odd rug. We had to hoover most days otherwise we had tumble weeds of furr and just mess from life. It's amazing. It's very easy to use and set up. I just plugged it in used the QR code in the quick start guide, took less than 10 minutes. You can control anything on the App, how much suction, how wet or intensive of a mop, which rooms you do and any combination of. Mine lives in a very small space in front of my tumble dryer and seems perfectly happy. It's so nice being able to walk through the house from the garden, having the doors open then just running the machine and all the mess is gone. It's very expensive to purchase yes but cheaper than a snazzy cordless vaccum. I only really use my kartcher now and a hand held vaccum for things like the sofa, edges, curtains etc. You can't put a cleaning product in the water tank for the mop. Instead I spray (drizzle) the cleaning solution directly on the floor and keep just water in the tank. I run the Kartcher on mop only so it's not using any suction and it wipes the floor with the Anti Bac! :) I know some people have said it goes in circles, I've never noticed. I just set it to run and leave it alone. The only thing that could make this better for me personally is if it was 2cm shorter so it could fit under my furniture. Hopefully this is something in the future. Bonus, my cats arnt terrified of it.

I was convinced to buy a robot cleaner by my sister. However I avoided going for the much more expensive I robot and bought this model. I was not disappointed, it moves from rugs to hard floors seamlessly. It leaves the pile on the rugs looking fresh and new. It’s amazing how something so small can also wash the floor too. I cannot praise this enough. Ours has been called Ruby Robot and is like part of the family.

Sadly, i have missed the date in which i could have returned it. The 'scheduled' cleaning function is at best indifferent and does not function properly. The software to set up 'virtual walls', does not work; the robot simply goes where it likes. Very disappointing from such a well regarded manufacturer.

Although the setting up was rather cumbersome due to difficulties connecting to the WiFi, the robot does clean well for the nature of the machine. We use our regular vacuum cleaner every forthnight since we got it, as oppose to every 4 days. Overall, very good purchase, we see our house clean almost all the time.

I’m not great with gadgets so was a little apprehensive about setting this up but it was surprisingly really simple. Everything is controlled via the app you search for your hoover and link it up to your internet. You then let the hoover commence a map of your room to be cleaned which it stores in the app. You can set boundaries if there are areas you don’t want the hoover to go I.E I set one to avoid the cat food and bowl just so water spillage is avoided. You can set times that you want to hoover to go to work and you don’t even need to be home so it’s nice to come home to a clean floor and certainly saves time. I have allergies so this is really helping to keep on top of dust and pet hair. You do need floor space near a wall available as this is where “home” is for the hoover. There is also an option to mop the floors too, you just need to attach the mop mat and change the champers inside from the hoover dust collector to the water tanker. I did have a little look to see how much replacement parts were for this and I was expecting a very high price tag considering the price of the hoover but I was pleasantly surprised to find they do a kit containing all the replacement parts for only £25 which I think is an acceptable price. It is quite quiet when in use too, normally my cats go mad to try and get away from the hoover but they look at this at work a little bewildered! The suction is surprisingly good too it even picks up stray cat biscuits which my traditional hoover always struggled with. This is an excellent idea to help with chores, it will save you time but also for those who have disabilities who are unable to hoover this is a great device to help. You couldn’t get rid of your traditional hoover though in my opinion was you still need to be able ti do your stair if you live in a house and this isn’t achievable with this device. This is one of the best products I have received from Amazon Vine and one I have told numerous people about, even my boss has now been convinced and ordered one too!

I bought it for holiday apartment at seaside. It means loads and loads of sand. I switch it on in the morning, when on the beach, it does amazing job. Hard floors and carpets, no problem, all clean. Amazing helper, love it. The best purchase in recent time.

Was using iRobot since 2016 and it is still running but no genuine spares can be found today. After reading lots of reviews I realised that the quality of iRobot is not as good as it used to be originally. Also, many negative reviews about modern 2-in-1 vacuum and mop robots of various brands. This Karcher machine actually surprised us with its precision and flawless operation. The quality of cleaning and mopping is also better than we were expecting. So, in conclusion, it is a good product and I would recommend it. The price is also surprisingly lower than that of other similar brands.
